Kramp OEM takes part in

market trends

Mass customisation Mass customisation, the mass production of individually tailored products and services, is the new business trend within industry and the service sector. Customers of today are no longer satisfied with standard products. They want a product that fully meets all their specific requirements. To meet all these different needs, manufacturers are in search of ways to introduce custom products to the market in a cost-effective way. Configurators Modular production is one of the options, but this only allows the customer to adapt parts of the product.

Another trend is the use of configurators, such as Kramp's Cylinder Configurator. This configurator enables the customer to create a product design independently, without relying on support from engineers, which can be costly. In the future, manufacturers will make increasing use of 3D printing as a tool to produce customer specific goods in a cost-effective manner. Mass customisation will be a key concept for the future, both for Kramp and for its customers.

September 2015

In the Systems & Components hall at Agritechnica 2015, 'Pathways' guide visitors through four themed areas: efficiency, environment, reliability and safety. Each of these issues plays a major role in the agricultural sector and they are therefore all key considerations for manufacturers. The Kramp OEM stand this year includes the Drive Assist Solution - the result of a cooperation project between Kramp, Monroc and Sampo/Black Bruin which ties in with some of these themes. For further details and information about our Cylinder & Hose Configurator, set deliveries and customer specific options in relation to sourcing, please visit our OEM stand, where we will be happy to discuss these matters with you.
