Welcome to Exeter’s new community owned Food Store and Café Welcome to the Real Food Store, Exeter’s first community owned food business. The Real Food Store offers good food and drink from sustainable sources at an honest price. We also aim to give you an enjoyable, alternative shopping experience! You will find in one lovely and inter-connected space the: • Store for all your grocery needs • Bakery for your daily bread • Take-Away counter for your grab and go coffee or lunch • Café & gallery for a delicious sit-down experience (small café downstairs; big café upstairs, where you can also view local art!) The Real Food Store opened on 30 March 2011 and is open Mon-Sat 9-6pm. (The café has slightly different opening times).
The Store Here in one convenient place you will find fresh, local, seasonal fruit & vegetables, dairy produce, eggs, meat and fresh bread made by hand at the in-store bakery. You will also find stock cupboard essentials such as flour, pasta, oils, pulses and spices. Be tempted by our range of drinks- gorgeous juices and alcoholic drinks featuring local beers, ciders and wines. We also sell fabulous Devon ice-creams and sorbets; jams, preserves and honey and a range of delicious cakes, biscuits, pies and snacks- and much more: come and see for yourself! All the ingredients on this menu are sourced, prepared and cooked from the best of the seasonal, fresh local produce stocked in the Real Food Store and produced in the Bakery.
