What story do you need to tell? Delta7 supports business leaders to engage their employees around a credible story of change
Delta 7
Transforming your organisation, one conversation at a time www.delta7.com
Delta7 works with leadership teams to help them gain clarity and ownership of their story of change within the organisation
Our approach to leadership development is focused on working with the senior team to create a ‘Big Picture’ of how the business is changing and why. This picture becomes the tool by which the whole organisation can make sense of change. The Big Picture evolves out of a series of 1:1 interviews, leadership team workshops and stakeholder input sessions. It is designed as a catalyst to encourage conversations across the business and to help leaders learn to hold and participate in genuine dialogue. We help you create a space for people to make sense of what’s happening and encourage shifts in thinking and behaviour.

Case studies
PageGroup – Global recruitment specialists The executive team needed a way to engage the global leadership community with the leadership challenges posed by the company’s ambitious new growth strategy. We worked with the Exec team over a period of five weeks to create a Big Picture and trained them to facilitate a visual dialogue session at their Global Leadership Conference in Barcelona. “Our global leadership team is multi-national, all speaking different languages ” says CEO Steve Ingham “The fact that the Big Picture is one language speeded up the process of getting people thinking the same way at the conference - a worthwhile investment” Executive Boad Director Olly Watson believes that working with Delta7 contributed to an important mindset shift in the business. “It changed our perception of what’s possible through good coaching and facilitation” he says. “We were a bit ‘old school’ but we’re now more open”
Southeastern Trains – Train operating company: Southeastern MD Charles Horton says “We created two Big Pictures over a two-year period period to help the board engage employees with their evolving strategy over the franchise period and beyond. The ‘Big Picture’ was a watershed moment in our move to a more listening, more engaging approach. 80% of employees returned our last engagement survey and our overall engagement score has gone from 77% to 84%” A wide range of employee stakeholders were able to input into the Big Picture process. “The most important thing about the Big Picture was the fact that people felt like they had made it themselves” says Charles, “not only did they recognise the story, they could recognise themselves in it; they could see their bit.”
