EXHIBITION SPACE

it is an art gallery exhibits ancient artifacts and cultural value of that place. The gallery exhibits a unique juxtaposition of art and architecture. The cave-like structure has a roof made of multiple interconnected domes, covered with a superadobe material. On the inside, irregular columns support the domes.

There are facilities for special painting exhibitions and for projecting films. Gardens and a café are located above ground.

The structure’s contemporary architecture draws on ancient and natural themes The Buddhist caves of Ajanta and Ellora inspired Doshi to design the interior with circles and ellipses, The interior is divided by columns similar to those found at Stonehenge

local winds on the south side which formulates the concept of a perlouvered screen in the front façade which effortlessly directs the wind and protects the building from the harsh southern sun.
