KITCHEN ACCESORIES
metal collection
The aim of the course was to learn how to build form. I started experimenting with paper sculptures until I found a form that inspired me. I had to give this form some kind of function. I created a kitchen utensil collection based on my sculpture, including a bottle opener, a peeler and a slicer. During my design process, I wanted to incorporate the gesture of the paper sculptures one on one on my final object. I made it from stainless steel sheets as they have many similar properties to paper. The ergonomics of the object is given by the curvature of the handle and its function is given by the length and position of the cut.

RINGELSPIEL
fényjáték
The task was to create a light play, where we defined for ourselves what light, play and light play mean. My subject uses the Moiré effect to project an animation on the wall. My analogy for the game was the carousel and I wanted to use it to achieve a carnival atmosphere with a more subtle reinterpretation. The assignment was in the middle of a covid epidemic, so the home space and its playfulness played an important role in the design process. A video of the object was also produced, which can be accessed via the QR code.

STAMP
bélyegző kollekció
During the course we had the opportunity to work with multipraktik. The company produces ping pong paddles, mostly from coloured veneers. Our task was to make a small object that would show some of the properties of this material. I wanted to put this usually industrial material in a different context and show the beautiful harmony of the layers. That's why my stamp collection has layers running vertically, in an unconventional way. The two objects are created by extruding the official stamp mould, as no more or less material is needed to create the form. I later added a gripping gesture to each of these, which, together with the colours, gives a sublime overall effect.

MEDION
app / IOT

The collaboration with Medion lasted for three semesters, during which we had the opportunity to get to know the company in depth and present them with relevant development plans. We also had the opportunity to work on their digital as well as their physical products. First we redesigned the applications of their IOT family from the ground up. Then we were given the space to show our ideas on how we see the future of Medion robotic vacuum cleaners and air purifiers.

MICRO MOBILITY

shareable ride
A fiataloknak egyaránt nehezére esik nagyobb méretű csomagok hazaszállítása. Az AVA ezt a problémát hivatott megoldani. A három kerekű jármű az emelhető csomagtartójával, illetve nyitott kialakításával egy tökéletes válasz ezekre a problémákra.

My goal was to make exercising at home easier. The four-piece set consists of halfkilogram weights. The bayonet lock allows for combining the individual parts and also facilitates quick weight changes between exercises. The silicone cover provides a more secure grip for the user and the shape prevents the weights from rolling away when not in use. All in all, my object provides an alternative tool for home exercisers that doesn't need to be hidden away and can even be a decorative piece in the living room. 16/19

RECEPTION DESK
In this project, I’ve designed a reception desk concept for a fictional paper factory. The inspiration came from the photocopier paper block. I was aiming to create a counter that would showcase the properties of the paper, yet retain the role as visual anchor in the space. I achieved this feeling with the choice of material. My plan was for the counter to be cast in one piece from concrete.
