4. Gestational Diabetes ďƒ˜ As its name suggests, gestational diabetes affects pregnant women. It

typically shows during the final term of pregnancy and usually goes away

right after delivery. The diabetes center of excellence revealed that around 3 to 8 percent of pregnant American women suffer from this type of diabetes.
