The team will take the ingredients you ask for - or advise you on what works best – and they will plan, schedule and mix the components to the perfect balance. They will give you the price upfront so you don’t need to worry about the cost. They will cook the dish, let you try it and if it’s up to your standards, they will make a full blown feast. With a focus on quality, simplicity, aesthetics but certainly also a good deal of humour, The Oak Men designs fit perfectly into Kosmonaut’s portfolio. The revolved wood project that The Oak Men were after began as a rough sketch and ended as a regular, labelled product. Wood deserves respect. Only the best wood workers that Kosmonaut cooperates with, know how to bring out the soul from each piece of material. Knowledge, ability and craftsmanship is key when the product is so accurate and detailed.

THERE ARE OVER A DOZEN OF STAGES OF WOOD PROCESSING IN THIS PROJECT.

Each stage is equally important to accomplish the perfect shape, structure and finish. Each phase is meticulously planned, timed and performed.

Starting with choosing the right oak and ending with the desired finish – be it varnish, oil or spray paint, the specification worksheet is always accurately completed. Once the products get pass quality checks, it is ready for the boxes and labels, delivered to The Oak Men at Braband in batches and ready to be distributed to dealers and web shops.

WE START WITH THE RIGHT DESIGN

This client’s interactive audio systems and all supporting products require an in-store presentation that would suit their stylish design.

Kosmonaut’s task is to produce a range of displays and stands that would match the look, feel and philosophy of this brand.

Design stage includes technical drawings and 3D visualization. After prototyping the products, high volume of displays is produced, packaged and delivered to client.

PRODUCTION IS CAREFULLY MONITORED

Laser cutting, steel bending, precise aluminium welding, powder painting, wood processing – these are among the processes used in fulfilling orders from this customer.

The clean, minimalistic, very functional design of the expositors is achieved by using natural wood and steel, powder painted in white. When so many processes need to be used to assembly thousands of displays, caring for details is crucial. Quality is carefully monitored and scrutinized to avoid any errors or delays.

There is now a happy medium for those who don’t want to dedicate their living environment to concrete – why not using ‘a slab’ of it with an art reproduction and reviving the room by placing a piece of ‘mural’ by the wall?

How do we even start to explain how special this ‘slab of concrete’ is? Completely hand-made, it is created by applying our own mix of patented cement onto superlight honeycomb boards. After drying, the coverage remains strong and solid, while elastic enough to create a beautiful, original surface that can be printed on.
