Foods that are kosher according to Jewish dietary rules are known as kosher foods. There are several reasons to be worried about your diet. So, here are the guidelines, according to the division of consumer affairs: • Only with previous written permission from the person or entity represented by the symbols, such as the Orthodox Union's OU, may package items carry a kosher symbol, such as the OU used by the Orthodox Union. Businesses that sell food in sealed containers, such as supermarkets, may respond to the manufacturer's or distributor's representation. • If a firm displays a sign indicating that a portion is for kosher meals, that area must provide kosher food.
