PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola

Whistler Mountain-Biking

The world record-breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola solidifies Whistler Blackcomb’s reputation for thinking big. Spanning the distance between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is a breathtaking 11-minute, 4+ kilometre journey to infinite possibilities. While connecting the incredible high alpine terrain of both mountains, this engineering marvel breaks three world records, including the 'Longest unsupported span of over three kilometres', 'Highest lift of its kind at 436 metres above the valley floor' and the 'Longest continuous lift system in the world'. In winter, PEAK 2 PEAK helps skiers and riders make the most of their day, and in summer, it introduces guests to unprecedented access to Whistler Blackcomb’s high alpine sightseeing, hiking and mountain-top dining.

The Whistler Mountain Bike Park boasts more terrain than any other bike park in North America with 1,493 vertical metres of lift-serviced descending trails, ranging in difficulty from green runs for beginners to blue and black diamond runs for intermediate and advanced riders. Biking terrain ranges from gentle banked cruisers through the coastal forest to tight and twisty single track – perfect for intermediate and all-mountain riders. The Whistler Mountain Bike Park is perhaps most wellknown for its machine-built trails: high-speed thrill rides infused with jumps, banked corners and wooden features designed for the ultimate in flow.
