BEACH FRONT - EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - SUNSET
A woman stands on the sand looking out towards the Atlantic Sea; wind whips through her hair. EMILY (V.O.) Sometimes the best intentions run awry. She leans down in the white surf and traces the “INFINITY TIMES INFINITY” sign in the wet sand. EMILY (V.O.) The people we care most about usually have their own motives. The wind catches the waves and the surf THUNDERS around Emily, her body shakes. EXT.
EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - DAY
LEGEND: TWO WEEKS EARLIER Aiden approaches Emily’s house. He carries a gift box filled with photos; a stray photo, held only by the box’s top, dangles along one of the edges. He places the box on a doorstep to hide it from view. He KNOCKS on the door. Astonished, Emily answers. She storms out onto the porch, SLAMMING the door. EMILY What do you think you’re doing here? AIDEN I’m here to beg your forgiveness. I’m here to save you from yourself. EMILY I didn’t ask you to save me. I know exactly what I’m doing.

AIDEN No, you don’t, Emily. The feeling of peace you seek won’t come from revenge. It only comes from forgiveness. Aiden kneels. Eyes pleading, he places a hand on his heart. Emily walks to the railing and stands in front of the etched sign of “INFINITY TIMES INFINITY” post. She runs her finger along the indentation. EMILY They will never get my forgiveness. They got away with murder and I will make them pay. AIDEN You don’t have to do that. Karma will see to it that they pay. EMILY KARMA? What do you know about it? You didn’t have your family torn apart by the actions of people who were trusted friends! AIDEN You’re right about that. But did you forget I lost my sister? I sought revenge and it has left me feeling hollow and unfulfilled. It did nothing for me. I beg you, come away with me. NOW! Before it’s too late. I don’t want to lose you! EMILY How dare you compare your situation to mine. How dare you... you who have felt the pain of loss and sought the justice... how dare you ask me to give it all up. Leave. Now! Emily disappears through the door as a phone RINGS from inside. The door SLAMS. INT.

Emily answers the phone.

EMILY What? Hold on, Jack. Slow down! INT. STOWAWAY TAVERN - DAY Jack speaks on his phone. Jack paces the tavern. Baby Carl fusses. The tavern has been ransacked. Dishes, papers, and glassware strewn around the room. JACK
Emily, you must come at once! My place has been totalled!
INT. INTERCUT - STOWAWAY TAVERN/EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - DAY Jack YELLS into the phone, Baby Carl SCREAMS, and Emily holds the phone away from her ear. JACK EMILY! You need to get your ass over here. EMILY What’s happened, Jack. Calm down and tell me what’s happened. Baby Carl SCREAMS LOUDER. Emily drops the phone. Jack cusses. Emily picks up the phone. Hurry up!
JACK
EMILY I am on my way! Emily SLAMS shut her door and heads out. INT.
STOWAWAY TAVERN - DAY
Emily runs in the tavern and stops short. Jack?
EMILY
JACK I came back from the shop and this is what I found. It’s worse upstairs.
REVENGE “MALICE” DALENE DAVIES Jack grimaces and runs his fingers through his hair. Emily picks up Baby Carl and rocks him. EMILY Anything missing? JACK The only thing I can find is a box of photos that Amanda kept under the bed. EMILY What kind of pictures? JACK The ones from her childhood, I mean, your childhood. Oh, shit, this is awful! I’m losing my mind. EMILY I know, Jack. I feel the same way but I need to know what items were in there. JACK Look, Emily, I know the Grayson’s killed your father, but this revenge thing has to stop. You either finish the job or I finish it for you. You have six months! EMILY Jack, I can’t do that... JACK You don’t have a choice. You need to finish this! EMILY But, Jack, this stuff takes time, planning... JACK I don’t care what it takes, just finish this! My wife is dead because of this... EMILY That is not fair, Jack. Your wife didn’t die because of my plan. Your wife died because the Ryan Brothers, not because of my plan.

JACK I know, I know, but there comes a time when it is best to forgive... EMILY Don’t you go there! The Grayson’s destroyed everything and everyone I ever loved. Do not lecture me about forgiveness. Don’t even go there! Emily passes Baby Carl to Jack and runs from the Stowaway. EXT.
MARINA DOCK - FRONT OF STOWAWAY - DAY
Emily opens her phone and dials Nolan. Nolan?
EMILY
INT. NOLAN’S OFFICE - DAY Nolan answers the phone while he opens his laptop. He clicks through several webpages and checks the video feed. NOLAN What is it, Ems? No ‘Good morning, hello’, just ‘Nolan’? EXT./INT.
INTERCUT - MARINA DOC/NOLAN’S OFFICE - DAY
Emily runs for her car, fumbling with the keys and phone, drops her purse with everything falling out. EMILY Nolan, I am heading your way. I need you to warm up your computer and locate all the hidden camera feeds so we can regroup. NOLAN Okay, okay, Ems. Don’t get your panties all twisted up. See ya in a few. Nolan sighs and begins to shut down the business sites he was looking at. They both hang up.

NOLAN’S OFFICE - DAY
Emily enters Nolan’s office. EMILY So, what have we got? Cameras located in the Stowaway, Grayson Manor, and Conrad’s office. Flip to the Stowaway first. The tavern was ransacked this morning. Nolan clicks the computer keyboard and images of the Stowaway pop up on the computer screen. Nolan manipulates the images and zeroes in on the person ransacking the tavern. Emily gasps and grabs the desk for support. NOLAN Well, well, it appears our old Revenage-Buddy has returned. EMILY I know. I saw him this morning. What does Aiden think he is doing? NOLAN I am assuming the reunion didn’t go well? EMILY No, it did not. Right after that, Jack called. Now I have this to deal with. Jack keeps reminding me of his deadline and Aiden now is threatening me as well. Emily sits down in a chair beside the desk. Off Emily, eyes narrowing and face flushing... EXT.
EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE
- DAY (TWO HOURS EARLIER)
Aiden, tears welling, stares blankly at the closed front door. He ambles down the steps, pausing at the bottom to gather the box of photos. His gaze shifts from the box to Grayson Manor.. INT.
GRAYSON MANOR - FOYER - DAY
Victoria and Aiden come face to face in the foyer.

VICTORIA What the hell do you want? You are person-non-grata here. I think you should leave. AIDEN Hello to you too. I think you might change your mind, though, after you look at these photos. I know who is behind the plot to bring you down. I am here to offer my assistance. VICTORIA Humm... Let me take a look at those photos and we will talk. You know the way to my office, don’t you? Victoria turns and heads to her office. Aiden trails like an obedient dog. They pass CHARLOTTE, who waddles down the stairs, newspaper clutched in a trembling hand. As Victoria takes the box, Charlotte waddles down the stairs, holding a newspaper in her trembling hand. CHARLOTTE Mother? I want to speak to you! What do you know about this story in the paper? Charlotte throws the paper towards a table next to Victoria. She sidles next to the table and impatiently taps her fingers on the tabletop. Victoria swaps the box for the newspaper and quickly reads. VICTORIA Just calm down, sweetie. Give me a moment to figure this out. You know the doctor says ‘no stress’ so you just let me stress over this. Why don’t you go into the kitchen and get yourself a nice cup of tea. CHARLOTTE MOTHER! Quit trying to control me. I am eighteen years old now and working towards becoming a mother myself. I think I deserve to know the truth about Declan’s death, if not for my own sanity, but for that of my baby’s future.

VICTORIA I know, dear. I know exactly what you mean. Come on, lets go to the kitchen together and talk about this like adults. CHARLOTTE Well, when you put it like that... Charlotte and Victoria turn towards the kitchen. INT.
NOLAN’S OFFICE - DAY
Emily has Nolan turn the video feed toward the Grayson Manor. EMILY Why that dirty, double crossing son of a bitch! NOLAN Ems, you need to take a step back. You don’t know what Aiden is doing... EMILY Of course I know what he is doing! Just look at that video! That Double crossing... NOLAN Let me rewind the feed and maybe we can put this together... together! Nolan rewinds the video. They observe the box and conversation between Victoria and Aiden. Emily picks up a glass paper weight and throws it across the room. EMILY I’ve had enough of that two-timing, double-crossing idiot. It’s time for a new plan to fix this once and for all. NOLAN What are you planning this time? Emily’s eyes take on a deep glowing sheen. She picks up another paper wight and moves it gently on the desktop. Nolan looks concerned.

EMILY Do you still have those backup recordings from the days Trask and Takeda were killed or did the police take them? NOLAN I ... um ... Ems, is this wise? I mean, Aiden knows almost as much as I do. EMILY Just answer the question. NOLAN Ems, the police could not break my encryption codes. My back up system is foolproof. The simple answer is.. Yes, I have them. EMILY Good. I want them available by 10 PM tonight. I warned him to keep my secrets safe. I told him that if he betrayed me, he would pay dearly. Now it’s payback time. NOLAN Are you sure, Ems? Yes.
EMILY
Off Emily... storming out of Nolan’s office, SLAMMING the door. EXT.
GRAYSON MANOR - DEN SLIDING WINDOW - DAY
Emily carefully plays with the slider latch until it opens. She glances around the darkened room and quietly enters. INT. GRAYSON MANOR - FOYER - DAY Emily moves toward the box sitting on the tabletop. As she reaches for it, the box falls to the ground with a THUD. Emily quickly shoves the photos back into the box. In her haste, she misses ten that have fallen under the table leg. Box in hand, Emily quickly backtracks to the exit.

EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - NIGHT
Emily opens the box and shifts through the photos. She counts out loud, knowing the exact number of family photos that she had given Amanda. When she finishes counting, she takes a deep breath and goes back through the photos, sorting them as she goes. EMILY Damnation! I must have missed ten of my photos when they fell. Emily sinks back in her chair. She calls Jack. EMILY (CONT’D) Jack? I am heading over with the box that was stolen. Yes, I will be there in ten minutes. She calls Nolan to arrange the pick up time for the videos. EMILY (CONT’D) Nolan? I’ll be there at 9:30 to pick up those videos. They had better be ready! Emily leaves the house and heads to Jacks. INT.
STOWAWAY TAVERN
- NIGHT
Emily pitches the box onto the bar top. She leans down to pick up Baby Carl and hug him close. EMILY There you go. Might I suggest you put these in a safe box or something? Jack gapes at her; shakes his head in awe. JACK I don’t know what to say, except thank you. Where was it and who stole it? EMILY Don’t worry about it. All but ten have been returned and the culprit will pay soon enough.

JACK Fine. I won’t ask. But just remember you have six months. EMILY This again? You know, it took them years to fix my father. I’ve only been at this for one year. Don’t make yourself into my enemy, Jack. It won’t be pleasant if you do. Jack takes Baby Carl and sighs. He shakes his head again. Emily heads for the exit. JACK I mean it, Emily. Six months! There has been enough death in this community to last ten lifetimes. Fix it or I will. Emily turns to look at Jack and Baby Carl, stalks out. INT. NOLAN’S OFFICE - NIGHT Emily stomps into the office. EMILY Well? Do you have them? Emily plops her purse on the desk and glares at Nolan. NOLAN Hey, hi to you too, Ems. Yes I found them and created a disk for you. Here. But you didn’t get this from me. I prefer the scenery of my office as opposed to a jail cell. Nolan hands her an envelope. She takes it and exits. EXT. EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - NIGHT Emily boots up her computer, opens the envelope and drops the thumb drive on her desk. She inserts it into the USB port. She watches the videos of Aiden. INT.
TAKEDA’S APARTMENT - NIGHT (FLASHBACK EIGHT MONTHS AGO)
Emily and Nolan enter Takeda’s apartment and find Takeda dead. Emily searches the room for evidence.

Nolan walks to the bookcase and picks up the whale camera that Nolan had given Takeda. Emily kneels down beside her mentor and cries. EMILY I vow to search out and find the person who did this to you. I will make them pay for the insult and injury done to you. NOLAN Ems? I think we can at least find out who did this. He hold up the whale cam. EMILY Just give me a moment. INT.
EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - NIGHT (OUT OF FLASHBACK)
Emily watches the videos again. She taps the coffee table. EMILY Yes, I think this will do just fine. She gets up and makes a cup of tea. She carries it outside to the porch. EXT.
EMILY’S BEACH HOUSE - PORCH - NIGHT
Emily stands on the porch, looking out towards the sea. The moon hides behind clouds, and casts a soft glow towards Emily. She walks to the rail and runs her finger over the “INFINITY TIMES INFINITY” sign. EMILY (whispering) David Clarke, Roger Halsted, Amanda Porter, Declan Porter and Takeda the victims of Victoria and Conrad Grayson. Five deaths that you will be held accountable for. (MORE)

EMILY (CONT'D) Aiden, you have been given your final warning and now... you will pay for your indiscretion. She looks towards Grayson Manor. Off Emily, body shaking with frustration and anger. She LAUGHS, sound BELLOWING toward the manor ... VIBRATING... END OF ACT ONE
