Muszyna is a small town full of attractions located in the Poprad River Valley, at the foot of the Beskid Sądecki, right by the border with Slovakia. It used to be the most significant town of the region as it was the capital of the Muszyna State which belonged to the bishops of Cracow. Today it is a popular resort. Its biggest advantage is its location in peaceful surroundings and mineral waters. The latter ones are the reason why numerous visitors decide to spend their holidays at the place. The beneficial climate of the Beskids is another reason. However, Muszyna is
not only a resort – it is a town full of historic sites which date back even to the Middle Ages where we can admire local art, architecture or get to know the history of people who used to dwell in this land. However, the town does not stand still and new attractions are added year after year. Muszyna is called the Town of Gardens not without a reason – there are the Sensory, Magical, Antique and Biblical ones in which you are sure to find your favourite corner.

Zapopradzie
Zapopradzie is a spa district of Muszyna situated on the slopes of Sucha Mountain. It owes its name to the location by the Poprad (in Polish ‘za’ – by, ‘popradzie’ – the Poprad). There is the Spa Park and one of the oldest mineral water pump rooms ‘Antoni’. Zapopradzie is a place where we can do numerous sports. There is the Centre of Recreation and Sports with swimming pools which are open in summer and an ice rink in winter. There is a volleyball court, table tennis, a line park and a water

ball. Most importantly, the majority of famous gardens of Muszyna are situated there. The Sensory and the Magical Gardens lie on the slopes and top of Sucha Mountain – they are tourists’ and locals’ favourite spots full of flowers, sunlight, aromas, beautiful views and exotic birds. Right by the Magic Gardens there is the aviary where we can see birds from various parts of the world and a mini zoo with alpacas.

Go-karts in Muszyna
In Zapopradzie, which is a recreational part of Muszyna, opposite Grzyb Cafe, we may rent pedal go-karts for children and adults, which are suitable for one, two or even three persons. Such entertainment is a great way of spending your spare time with your family or friends and

visiting Zapopradzie. It is also a good idea for a group integration, birthdays, a business event or a school trip. There are numerous wide paths which allow safe driving and sightseeing. It is worth mentioning that the rental operates in summer time on dry days.

Pedal go-karts
What are pedal go-karts? They are muscle-powered vehicles but apart from legs, we will also need our hands to steer them. They have three, massive wheels which will

ensure safety and stability. If we end up going too fast, we will be able to hit the brakes. Go-karts constitute great and safe fun, an alternative to a walk or cycling.
