At the foot of the Tatras

At the foot of the Tatras, somewhere between Rysy and Babia Mountain, a vast land called Podhale stretches. This magical place full of breathtaking views is the home of Highlanders. Among numerous Highlander communes, there is Czarny Dunajec – picturesque and tranquille. It is close to numerous attractions but far from the crowds. The
place delights with nature, historic sites, wooden architecture and picturesque trails – hiking, cycling or skiing ones. It is inhabited by Highlanders who have been cultivating the traditions of their ancestors for years. They show the traditions to visitors through music, dance, handicraft or cuisine.
Czerwienne is a small village in Czarny Dunajec Commune, in the centre of Podhale, between Zakopane (13 km) and Nowy Targ (12 km). It is surrounded by nature and plenty of attractions. The first records about the place date back to 1595. There are many legends and local histories on how the village was created and why it is called Czerwienne. According to one of them, the name was supposed to be derived from red sunrises and sunsets (‘czerwony’ means red in Polish) whereas another one claims that it was derived from red clay on Czerwona Mountain (Red Mountain) on the border between Czerwienne and Ratułów. A different one says that the place owes its name to the autumn look of the village. In autumn borders between fields are covered with hawthorns which have red fruit. It is difficult to decide which one is the true one but one thing is sure – the village can boast of beautiful views which are inspiring even for its inhabitants.
The hotel, the restaurant and the spa

Among the spruce forests and the meadows of Podhale, on a hill which rises to a height of 1,000 m there is a hotel as incredible as the whole Podhale, a bit different from other buildings typical for this area. Bachledówka Hotel *** is a modern facility which relates to the Highlander style with its style and decor. The interiors are cosy, elegant with the touch of Podhale. They relate to the culture and
In harmony with nature

Bachledówka Hotel*** is surrounded by wonderfully relaxing, omnipresent nature. Everywhere you look, you can see forests or meadows, colourful flowers and singing birds. You can spot a deer in the morning and a fox in the evening. The proximity of Podhale guarantees clean, fresh air and a climate which will ensure deep relaxation. The hotel uses ecological solutions thanks to which they do not destroy the natural environment – heat pumps, a biomass heating system or their own water intake.
tradition of Podhale and meet all the requirements of its guests. From the hotel windows one may admire views of Podhale nature, the Tatras and the Beskids. The place is ideal either for family stays, winter holidays, a romantic weekend or a business meeting. A restaurant, a club, conference rooms, special conveniences and attractions for children or Spa&Wellness zone are at guests’ disposal.
Rooms and apartments
The hotel offers 53 rooms (1-, 2, 3-person rooms) including superior ones which can accommodate 4 people and studio ones dedicated to 5 or 6 people. Family apartments are dedicated to a maximum of 6 guests. In total, the hotel can accommodate 130 guests. One triple room
is adjusted to people with mobility impairments. All the rooms are comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully designed in classical style with Highlander touches. All of them have en suite bathrooms. From the windows guests can admire the Tatras or the Gorce Mountains.

The restaurant
Highlander traditions are also combined with a modern style by the chefs of the hotel restaurant ‘Bliżej Nieba’ (Closer to Heaven). The dishes on the menu are based on local, organic products and…on the creativity of the chefs. The products of Podhale reign in the kitchen – cheese out of which oscypek is the most popular, local honey, fresh vegetables, forest mushrooms, pickles,
mutton or fish. Next to the dishes of the region, we will find classics of Polish and European cuisine. We can have barberry, oscypek cream soup, pappardelle with penny buns or a classical burger. Wine is to complement the menu. The wine list was created in cooperation with an experienced sommelier.

Breakfast
Spa & Wellness

If we add a Spa&Wellness zone to the picturesque location, luxurious rooms and delicious cuisine, we will get a hotel worth staying at for a longer time. The hotel spa is supposed to be a retreat in which time stops and guests reach a state of utter bliss. The zone consists of four modern studios where we can take advantage of a variety of massages and original body and face treatments. All the cosmetics used in the treatments are inspired by nature.
The club
The hotel club is a great choice for an evening. It is a place where hotel guests can have fun to the rhythm of the best music. A well-stocked bar and comfortable interiors make our visit more enjoyable. At the club we can throw a party – a birthday celebration, a hen party or a stag night, and a business meeting. The staff will do their best so that every event is exceptional.

Additionally, one may visit a hairdresser’s or a make-up specialist’s studio.
The Wellness zone has a small swimming pool with a view of the Gorce in which water has 27°C – 29°C. Guests may take advantage of a jacuzzi and saunas – a steam, Infrared or Finnish ones. An intimate atmosphere, silence and soft light let us utterly relax. One should use packages prepared by the hotel as they include a stay with board and Spa treatments.
Bachledówka Hotel*** is an excellent spot for summer or winter holidays with children. Podhale is a region which abounds in attractions for children but the hotel will not allow them to get bored as well. A spacious play room with a ball pit, blocks, ride-on toys, mascots, puzzles, drawing boards or tents is at the youngest guests’ disposal. Moreover, children can borrow books and games. There is table football and billiards available.
In the garden one will find a playground with a carrousel, slides and even a climb wall. In winter children can go sledging on a special hill behind the hotel.
The hotel offers packages which include entertainment for children. Professional entertainers organise for example dance classes. All the necessary equipment, essential while travelling with children, is provided. There is a bathroom with a changing table. One may borrow a cot, a bath, a high chair, a landing, additional blankets or pillows. The restaurant offers a special menu for children.
For children Business
Large, well-equipped conference rooms allow the organisation of business events, congresses, conferences or workshops in the hotel. The qualified staff who will neatly organise any event is at an organiser’s disposal. A delicious, sophisticated meal – a lunch, a dinner, a coffee break or

a regional feast – will be a great addition to any occasion. Guests always have access to the Wellness zone. The hotel will also deal with the organisation of additional attractions.
