RESIDENCE

The project is to design an individual house for an elderly couple with the challenge of proximity/closeness with nature.

The 6500 sqm site is located in Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas district, featuring a huge pond on the South.

The concept portrays the idea of transparency between interior and exterior of the Residence.

Site Information

A three bedroom house is to be designed for an elderly couple in a site located in rural West Bengal and the client wanted the aesthetic of the residence to be done in a rural setting, making use of the existing pond and with the provision for an orchard, a rice field, a mustard field and a vegetable garde, apart from a flower garden.

Concept

Studies show that well-designed hospital environments can reduce patients’ anxiety and stress, accelerate recovery, shorten hospitalizations, reduce medication use, lessen pain, and promote a sense of well-being. Therapeutic environments can help contain costs by improving patient outcomes, reducing length of stay, and enhancing staff recruitment, satisfaction, productivity and Retention.

The aim was to bring nature inside the hospital and to give as much exposure to nature as possible to in-patients as well as out-patients, while not excluding hospital staff and doctors.

A swimming clubhouse with a banquet hall and lodging services is designed in a riverside site with necessary parking spaces, open food court, a competition pool and regular pools for men and women.

A project which gave the chance to fuse the living way of the village amidst of city and the village provides a dwelling for Artisans to exhibit their works while living and sustaining themselves in a healthy environment.

The site for the project is located in Kona, Howrah.

The metal ware and earthen ware units are arranged closer Such that they can share a common furnace. The traditional Fabric units and leather ware are arranged along the Periphery which will give the feel of street marketing or rather the village market feel.

UNDERWATER CAFE

At the point when we enter the bistro, a Monument is seen which is a half flamingo as far as fish view as it’s seen somewhat lowered as though it’s benefiting from fish in the water and the blue glass around the bistro gives the sensation of submerged . at the point when the sun reflection tumbles from top the sun beams direct the water reflection inside the bistro to give the vibe of lowered submerged.

The plan of the cafe is 12 * 12m square where each side is divid ed in to 3 part which become rubic’s cube and then one side of 1/2 join the adjacent side 1/3 this pattern goes on.
