Welcome everyone attending the 3rd Great British Koi Show at Newark Showground and we have tried our hardest to bring you the best show so far.
If you attended in the last 2 years you will see, we have made some changes this year as the show continues to evolve.
You will also notice we have brought you the best koi dealers in the land aswell as new and exciting trade stands that I am sure will cater for your every need.
We hope you will find everything you could ever want for your pond and garden. withThanksfromtheShowCommitee
So, if you are a seasoned hobbyist or just thinking of building a pond there is something for everyone. Please speak to the people on the stands for advice as they will be more than willing to guide you.
For us it is very important that new hobbyists start and then thrive in the show scene, and we would encourage everyone to have a go, and this has led us onto our special awards for this year
We have a special award in size 3, 35-45cm and we ' ve named it our Junior Champion. We also have another special award namely the best single colour koi and we have included Metallic, gin rin and doitsu in this award. We are almost sure everyone has at least one of these varieties in their pond and the winner will be chosen by Darren at Absolute koi and Lee and Mike at Shosha koi, 2 of our show sponsors.
We are already thinking of a new award which will encourage people into the show scene for next year. But that's for next year... TBC!
I must thank everyone that has helped bring you this show, all the people helping are mostly YSBKKS club members and some that just want to be involved and help.
All are volunteers and their support is greatly appreciated again without all these volunteers we wouldn't be here.
