CHRISTMAS MARKET AT COLOGNE CATHEDRAL

Von einem strahlenden Sternen­ lichterzelt eingerahmt, verzaubert der zu den beliebtesten Weihnachts­märkten gehörende „Weihnachtsmarkt am Kölner Dom“ vor der historischen Kulisse des Kölner Doms seine Besucher. Über 100 Bühnenauftritte, kulina­ rische Köstlichkeiten, individuell angefertigtes Kunsthandwerk, ausgewählte Geschenke und soziales Engagement von 150 verschiede­ nen Ausstellern gilt es unter der echten rund 25 Meter hohen festlich geschmückten Weihnachts­ baumtanne zu entdecken. Die kleinen Gäste können sich auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt der Herzen auf ein kunterbuntes Kinderprogramm sowie eine Fahrt auf einem historischen Kinderkarussell freuen.

Framed within a canopy of starlights, one of the most popular Christmas markets, “Christmas Market at Cologne Cathedral”, bedazzles its visitors in front of the historic backdrop of Cologne Cathedral.

Discover more than 100 stage appearances, culinary delicacies, individually crafted artisan handi­ craft, selected gifts and the social commitment of 150 various exhi­ bitors under the genuine 25-meter high Christmas tree.

At the Christmas market of hearts, our young guests can look forward to a colorful children's programme as well as a ride on the historic children's carousel.

Das „Haus vom Nikolaus“, der riesige „Adventskalender“, die „Dorfkapelle“, die „Kinderwerkstatt“ und das Bühnenprogramm entführen in eine stimmungsvolle Welt weihnachtlicher Magie. Strahlende Illuminationen rahmen die rustikalen Stände ein. Ein Treffpunkt zum Flanieren, Entdecken, Genießen und Schlemmen in anheimelnder Gemütlichkeit. Ein Ort der Begegnung zwischen Tradition und Moderne, ein etwas anderer Weihnachtsmarkt.

The “St. Nicholas’ Village” will be staged on Rudolfplatz in the city centre. Situated in front of the historic Hahnentorburg gate, the magical Christmas world offers an entirely new and unique world of experiences. St. Nicholas and Santa Claus are omnipresent. The “house of St. Nicholas”, the huge “advent calendar”, the “village chapel”, the “children’s workshop” and the stage programme whisk visitors away into an atmospheric world of Christmas magic.

Radiant illuminations frame the rustic stalls. A meeting point for strolling, discovering, enjoying and feasting in homely cosiness.

Bei der Rückreise werden Sie zwischen 15 bis 20 Uhr kosten­frei mit Shuttlebussen von der Komödienstraße zum Messeparkplatz P22 gebracht. Dort stehen die Reisebusse zur Rückfahrt bereit.

When you arrive by coach you will alight in Komödienstraße, in the direct vicinity of Cologne Cathedral. When returning, you will be picked up at Komödien­ straße between 3 and 8 pm where a free shuttle service will take you to the car park P22 of the exhibition centre. Here, your coaches will await you for your return journey.
