Clock Tower mecca

One of the largest building projects in the Arab countries, the new Clock Tower at Mecca has been under construction for 18 months.

It is the central building of the unique complex that forms the holiest of all Muslim sites.

When finished, the 76-floor tower will be one of the largest in the world, built at a cost of USD 1.6 billion.

The first shipment of Knauf building materials for this project 80,000 square meters of gypsum fiber boards were sent to the site in 2009. With a strong presence in countries across the Arab world, Knauf is ideally situated to add value to this prestigious project, offering innovative building solutions through the technical competence, logistics and consulting services and high-quality system technology of individual Knauf partners.
