Adriano A. Donatelli, 95
Adrian A. Donatelli, 95, of Uxbridge, Massachusetts passed away at Golden Pond Assisted Living in Hopkinton on June 28, 2023.
Adrian was born to Maria (DeSanctis) and Mario Donatelli in Lettomano- pello, Italy on September 29, 1927 and immigrated to the United States at the age of five. He married Olive M. Lash of Whitinsville, on August 26, 1950. Adrian was a graduate of Uxbridge High School and worked for the former

Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville as a production planner and supervisor.
Adrian was an Uxbridge Junior League baseball Manager and Coach of the Meteors for many years as well as a neetega Flag Football coach in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He served on the Uxbridge Recreation Committee and Uxbridge Conservation Commission.
Adrian enjoyed all aspects of maintaining and improving his home in Uxbridge and was active in doing so well into his 90’s. He was a regular patron of the Uxbridge Free Public Library and enjoyed all the services that it provided as well as the helpful staff there. Adrian enjoyed attending Uxbridge High School athletic events, especially football and basketball and he and Ollie could be found in the stands long after their own children had graduated.
Adrian is survived by his oldest son James and his wife Susan of Upton; daughter Mary Donatelli Tonry and her husband Michael of Whitinsville and his youngest son Michael of Albuquerque, new Mexico; five grandchildren, Kristin Gauthier (Scott) of Uxbridge, Jessica Boyle (Adam) of Upton,
Christopher Tonry and his fiancee Caitlin Parker of Seattle, Washington, Sarah Tonry O’Connor (Edward) of Denver, Colorado and Maria Tonry Cherubino (Grace) of Westborough; five great grandchildren, Tanner, Braden and Olivia Gauthier and Conor and Tegan Boyle as well as extended family in Toronto, Canada and Italy and many nieces and nephews. Adrian was predeceased by his brother Anthony and sisters Justina Vasile Wolf and nena Bisbee.
Adrian was most proud of the fact that all his children and grandchildren were successful college graduates. Adrian was well respected, reserved and humble in manner and always tried to be kind and courteous to those he met. He will be remembered as the neighbor who would lend a helping hand or silently take care of clearing snow or solving a problem in the neighborhood.
Most of all, his devotion to Ollie and with her, creating a loving home, was his greatest happiness and the best gift he could have given his children.
Thank you to all those who were a part of Adrian’s long and full life. The family is especially grateful to Golden
Pond Assisted Living and their affiliates Starting Line Wellness, Bayada Health Care and Faith and Family Hospice for their compassionate care during his last months of his life.
Final arrangements are being coordinated by Buma Funeral Homes. The family will remember and celebrate Adrian’s life privately.

Music at the Farm concerts continue
On August 13th at 2:00 p.m. A concert with Artist in Residence soprano Emma Robertson and Chris Carson piano is planned. They will perform Schubert's Shepherd on the Rock, Rossini's La regata veneziana, Bernstein's Simple Song and I Hate Music, Copland's 12 Poems of Emily Dickinson, and two Mozart arias, Ach ich fuhl's from the Magic Flute and Deh vieni from The Marriage of Figaro..
Originally from Marietta Georgia, Ms. Robertson holds a masters degree from nEC, studied in Austria and received an Encouragement Award from the Met Opera.
These indoor concerts are at Grace note Farm 969 Jackson Schoolhouse Rd. Pascoag, RI. Tickets are $30, children $15, call 401-567-0354 for reservation. Audience members are welcome to arrive at 1PM and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy outside, visit the farm animals and walk the farm trails prior to the concert.
