Plummer Place, Home of the northbridge Senior Center, hosted another intergenerational program called “Growing the Generations” for older adults in the community and local Daisy/Brownie Girl Scout Troop #65224. Amy Cowen, program and volunteer coordinator of Plummer Place, and Krista Kugler, Daisy/Brownie troop leader, coordinated the opportunity where the girls were able to enjoy a morning with some older adults planting many different kinds and colors of flowers, appreciating one another’s company, and partaking in some light refreshments while also sharing stories with one another of summers to come and of summers past.

Many of the attendees remembered one another from a former program held at Plummer Place this winter called Puzzle Pals. Others formed new friendships and a great time was had by all! Plummer Place would like to thank Girl Scout Troop #65224 and the Friends of northbridge Elders (FInE) for sponsoring this event. Participants added as much color, creativity, scenery, and/or graphic designs as they chose to their birdhouses while enjoying light refreshments and the camaraderie of others.

"We had such a great time! Romeo built a wonderful and creative variety of birdhouses and my husband and I were able to pick two different
