Three travel teams qualified for the Midland Area Youth Soccer playoffs, including the U14 Division 1 Boys, the U14 Division 1 Girls, and the U12 Division 2 Boys.

The playoffs, which took place this June, featured the best youth soccer teams across Central Massachusetts. The U14 Boys team claimed the #1 seed and advanced directly to the semi-finals. They won their semi-final game 6-1 and moved on to the championship game to face Shrewsbury. It was a tight game, but the boys triumphed with a double overtime goal with 30 seconds left, winning 3- 2 and claiming the U14 Division 1 Boy’s Championship.

The U14 Girls held the #2 seed and faced Holden in the semi-finals, defeating them 2-1. In the championship game, the girls played hard on a rainsoaked field and defeated #1 seeded Shrewsbury 2-1 to claim the U14 Division 1 Girls Championship.

Both teams moved on to the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions against the best in the state. They both represented Uxbridge well, winning a round-robin tournament game.

The #2-seeded U12 Boys Division 2 team played well in the MAYS league playoffs, winning a quarterfinal game against Shrewsbury 5-2. They defeated Holden in the semi-finals 2-0 before falling to top-seeded Auburn in the championship game.
