After the unfortunate death of one of my heroes, Tony Hsieh, former CEO of Zappos, I reread his amazing book 'Delivering Happiness,’ and it really helped me realign my pharmacy goals The focus on building a staff that genuinely cares for one another, and shares passion for our jobs is of paramount importance I wanted, and have a staff that loves to work together The staff’s caring and passion trickle directly down to our patients, and create unique and memorable customer interactions The easiest way to see how a business treats their customers, is to observe how they treat their staff They are seldomly not aligned

In my core vision of the pharmacy, our product is not a tangible physical item such as prescription drugs or vitamins Our primary focus is not necessarily on selling medicines or supplements, but creating a great customer experience We are essentially a customer service business with a pharmacy problem
