KINTURA Brief: Pratt Institute is renovating Dekalb 100, originally a dormitory turned educational space to establish an artist-in-residence program. This program aims to provide a temporary domestic accommodation that seamlessly integrates living, working, and exhibiting. The redesigned space emphasizes flexibility, inclusivity, and public engagement, fostering a dynamic environment where artists can create, showcase, and interact with the community.

Brief: The primary objective of this project is to redesign the office space of the International Living Future Institute to foster a culture of collaboration among its employees. The new design will embody the organization’s commitment to sustainability and future-oriented living, while ensuring that the space is adaptable, inviting, and conducive to creative collaboration and productivity.

Rebirth Brief: To relocate and renovate BloomAgainBrooklyn’s flower shop into a space that not only serves as a retail environment but also as a community hub, inspired by the concept of growth, rejuvenation, and the intrinsic beauty of flowers. This project aims to explore how architectural design can embody the principles of sustainability, community engagement, and the celebration of natural beauty.

Typology: Residential

Brief: This project focuses on the design of a contemporary urban residence that rethinks the concept of adaptive living, blending personal behavior, privacy needs, cultural norms, and physical constraints within the domestic environment. The challenge is to create a space that accommodates an inter-generational family in an urban setting, adapting to their evolving needs and changing living patterns over time.

This exploration aims to understand how both environments and individuals adapt through both conscious and unconscious responses.
