All entries must be received by the Show Secretary on or before the FRIDAY of the show NO ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW

The committee reserve the right to accept or refuse any entry

Exhibitors may only make one entry in a class Points that will be awarded towards winning a trophy are: 1st Prize - 4 points 2nd Prize - 3 points 3rd Prize - 2 points

Except as otherwise stated, all exhibits must have been grown by the exhibitor for at least three months prior to the show. Any exhibitor must, if required, prove to the satisfaction of the committee that his/her exhibits have been grown by him/her on land in his/her occupation except in classes as the committee may decide to be unnecessary

An exhibitor making a false entry will forfeit all prizes awarded to him/her. The committee claim the right of inspecting all intended exhibits and exhibitors gardens

Judges have the right to withhold prizes where exhibits are considered to be of insufficient merit. Trophies are awarded to First prize exhibitors only

The decision of the judges in all cases is final (except where a protest has been lodged). Such protest must be to a committee member no later than 3.00pm on the day of the show, accompanied by a fee of £1.00 for each protest which will be dealt with by a committee member and if un sustained, such fee shall be forfeit.

All exhibits to be staged by 10.00am, unless otherwise advised by the Committee, on the day of the show and waste to be removed by exhibitors. The venue will be cleared for judging except for officials. No exhibit may be removed without the Chairman’s or Show secretary’s permission

a) No artificial decoration or colouring on exhibits except where allowed in the schedule

b) Vases are provided c) No Society property is to be removed from the venue 10

All roots and tubers to be washed

All exhibits in Fruit may be polished

Every Care will be taken with exhibits, but the Committee will not be responsible for loss or damage

The instruction of the Chairman, Vice chairman or Show Secretary must be obeyed. Failure to comply will result in a request to withdraw

The exhibitors name must not be visible during judging

15

Anyone found contravening the Society’s rules/regulations will be dealt with by a special committee

An annual flower is one deemed to have been raised from seed during


the twelve months preceding the show 17

AGE LIMIT –Junior 10 years and under Intermediate 11 to 16

PRIZE MONEY may be collected on the day of the show from the Treasurer and checked upon receipt
