Dear Member, We are excited to announce our 2020 Membership Opportunity program as we also welcome back the LPGA this July to Midland Country Club, and our community. Enclosed you will find our 2020 Membership Opportunity informational card to pass along to someone who may be interested in membership at Midland Country Club. Since the Club’s inception, having a healthy, active and full membership has been the keystone to our success. Membership by invitation is inherent to the sense of belonging that comes with being a part of the family-oriented community within Midland Country Club. Member acquisition and retention are two key components of our long-term strategic plan. In an effort to maximize our campaign’s success, we have combined the most attractive components from a variety of previous incentive-based programs. This incentive package will only be offered until August 15, 2020 to new individuals or families who have not previously been members of MCC before, and includes the following: 1. A discounted initiation fee (with an additional discounted initiation fee for the first 50 people who join as a Full or Recreational members) or the opportunity for a preview membership for one year, along with payment plans for the initiation fee commitment. 2. Experienced-based Deluxe Bucks for the new member candidate to use around the Club. 3. The first 50 new Members whose applications are accepted before July 1 will have the opportunity to be entered into a drawing to win two (2) honorary observer passes for one of the tournament days (more information to follow). The first 50 people to join as a Full or Recreational new Members on or after April 1, 2020 will get an additional discount of up to $2,020 off our already discounted initiation fees. After the first 50 people take advantage of this opportunity, all Full and Recreational memberships will be available at the seasonal reduced initiation fee prices until August 15, 2020. If you have someone in mind who would like to take advantage of our 2020 Membership Opportunity and its perks, please fill out the enclosed referral card. Each member who provides 3 prospective member candidates and returns their referral card by Tuesday, June 30, 2020 will be entered to win a complimentary Chef’s Table with Chef Nate and 7 of your closest friends. As your Membership Director, I will guide prospective new members through tours, questions and and nuances of the process to help them make their decision. We will also be rewarding each sponsor of a new member with a sponsor gift when their new member pays into their initiation fee, as a token of our appreciation. Opportunity 2020
We are very excited to offer you our 2020 Membership Opportunity program as we also welcome the LPGA back this July as the world’s leading professional golf organization for women. As a prospective new member of Midland Country Club, you will have the privilege of “previewing” the Club for a one-year time period during this exciting time for Midland Country Club. This program gives you the opportunity to use the Club without payment of any upfront initiation fee, if you choose. The only obligation is commitment to a preview membership for one year from the membership acceptance date (applicable dues, fees, assessments and charges will apply). Complimentary New Member Experience Deluxe Bucks will be given to all 2020 new members that take advantage of this Membership Opportunity. Below are the program specifics for this Membership Opportunity: I: Be one of the first 50 people to join as a Full or Recreational new member on or after April 1, 2020 and get an additional discount of up to $2,020 off our already discounted initiation fees (see chart below), as well as be entered to win exclusive perks at the 2020 Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational LPGA event.
a: These New Members may either pay their initiation fee in-full or put 20% down and choose a deferral plan over 1-3 years. A $200 fee per year will be applied, aligned to the length of the deferral plan chosen. b: The first 50 New Members will be entered into a drawing to win (2) honorary observer passes for one of the tournament days. Each MCC Member will receive a minimum of (2) complimentary member badges for the tournament and one (1) complimentary member parking pass for the entire tournament week.
II: After the first 50 people join, the seasonal initiation fee pricing will continue until August 15, 2020. If paid in full, you will receive an additional 10% discount or you have the option to make monthly payments for one to three years. A $200 deferral fee per year will be applied, aligned to the length of the deferral plan chosen. III: After August 15, 2020, initiation fees return to their regular rates. The regular initiation fee may be paid in full (with a 10% discount off the regular initiation fee) or may be paid in monthly staged payments for one to three years. Membership Information Membership Age Categories Regular: This category recognizes individuals age 40 and above (Single) and all family units with the oldest spouse or partner age 40 and above: married couples, parent(s) and their children and domestic partners* and their children (Family). Children must be unmarried, dependent upon parents for support, and after turning 21 years of age, must be attending college or in the Armed Forces. Privileges are suspended for children after they turn 25 years of age. Other dependents living in the same household may be allowed membership privileges upon application to the Board of Directors. Young Professional II: This category recognizes individuals from the age of 31 to their 40th birthday (Young Professional II Single) and all family units with the oldest spouse or partner under age 40 (Young Professional II Family). Other dependents living in the same household may be allowed membership privileges upon application to the Board of Directors.
