AnthonyRewardDorseywasbornonNovember1,1986,in Montgomery,Alabama,toZacharyHudsonandAndrea“Bitty”Dorsey.He wasthebelovedonlysonamongfoursiblings.
LifeasweknewitchangedforeveronFebruary27,2025,whenAnthony’s lifewastragicallytaken,alongwithhischerishedson,Antonio.
AnthonywaseducatedintheMontgomeryCountyPublicSchoolSystem beforeproudlyenlistingintheUnitedStatesArmy.Hecompletedhisbasic trainingatFortJackson,SouthCarolina,andwentontoserveatourinKorea. UponreturningtotheStates,hewasstationedatFortHood,Texas.After fulfillinghismilitaryservice,hereturnedtoMontgomery,Alabama,wherehe workedvariousjobswhilewholeheartedlydedicatinghimselftoraisinghis son,Antonio.
Anthony’smemorywillbeforevercherishedbyhisfather,ZacharyHudson; mother,Andrea“Bitty”Dorsey;daughter,Adrianna;stepdaughter,Azaleigha; andhislovingsisters,Teneille“Lady”Dorsey,Jonedtrea“Jin”Dorsey,and Chari(Sherman)Goldsmith.Healsoleavesbehindahostofaunts,nine nieces,cousins,militaryfriends,TheOaksneighbors,NorthColonialDrive neighbors,andcountlessotherfriendswhoseliveshetouched.
Thoughhistimewithuswasfartooshort,Anthony’slove,laughter,and devotiontohisfamilywillliveonintheheartsofallwhoknewhim.

Asonwhomadetheworldcomplete, Agrandson'sjoy,sosoft,sosweet. Nowintheheavens,youwillrise, Ashiningstarinendlessskies.

Father took my hand, so true, And whispered softly, "I'll bring you." Together, we began to rise, Beneath the endless, starlit skies. We left the earth, so far below, To where the angels softly glow. In heaven's arms, we soared so high, With love that reached beyond the sky.
His voice, a gentle guiding star, Led me to realms where dreamers are. Through gates of light, with hearts entwined, He brought me to the peace we'd find.
Together there, we roamed the air, In joy and love beyond compare. With Father close, I felt so free, In heaven's bliss, just him and me.
OnSeptember20,2016,theworldwelcomeda brightandfearlessexplorer,AntonioMartin Dorsey.Fromthemomenthearrived,hewas fullofenergywithaplayfulspiritthatmade everydayanadventure.Antonio’swarm, infectioussmilecouldbrightenanyroom. Hishappiestmomentswerespentoutdoors, dashingacrosstheplaygroundwithboundless energy,playinghideandseek,andembracing everyadventurewithpurejoy.Helovedfidget toys,dinosaurs,andtrucks.

AsanadventuroussecondgraderatBrewbaker PrimarySchool,Antonio’sgreatestadventure, however,wastheonehesharedwithhisfather, AnthonyR.Dorsey.Thetwowereinseparable adynamicduowhosebondwasbuiltonlove, laughter,andendlessfun.Whetherplayingoutsideorjustenjoyingeachother’scompany, Antonioandhisdadwereeachother’sgreatest joy.OnFebruary27,2025,theiradventureon earthcametoasuddenendwhentheybothlost theirlivesinatragicfire.Thoughtheirtime herewasshort,theirloveandlegacyliveonin theheartsofthosewhoknewthem.
Antonioissurvivedbyhismother,Ashley (Floyd)MinnigBlair;anoldersister,Azaleigha Harper;histwin,AdriannaM.Dorsey;his grandmothers,RondaRobinson(Colorado)and AndreaDorsey(Montgomery,AL);hisgrandfathers,Gyy(Melissa)Copetti(Clinton,TN)and
ZacharyHudson(Montgomery,AL); hisstep grandfather,NorahRobinson(Virginia);seven aunts,AudreyTodd(Arizona),NicoleCopetti (JamilBeach),MakaylaFerro(Clinton,TN), MachelleCook,TeneilleDorsey,Jonedtrea Dorsey,Chari(Sherman)Goldsmith;oneuncle, MaxCook,hisbonusuncles,Denitric Dee”GladneyandUndarius Zeigler;andahostofcousins, family,andfriends.
ThoughAntonioandhisfather arenolongerphysicallywith us,theiradventurecontinues together.Today,wecelebratehis lifeandthelovehesharedwith allwhoknewhim.
Heisnowsoaringhigh withhisdadrightbyhis side.Yourstorydoesn endhere itcontinues ineverylaugh,every hug,andevery playfulmoment weshare inyour memory. Welove youforever.
THE
Nobodytalksabouthow exhaustinggriefcanbe. Thesleeplessnights,theunanswered questionsinyourmind.
Thestruggletoswitchoff. Tothinkofanythingotherthanyou. Relivingthenightmareoflosingyou.
