What the Kitsap Community Foundation Provided • $125,000 in Sponsorship Dollars Raised that helped underwrite the direct expenses of producing the event and provided support for the Bonus Pool offering a 5% boost for every gift made through the Kitsap Great Give.

• Prizes totaling $8,950 were given to nonprofits throughout the campaign to incentivize donors and maintain the momentum of donations.

• The new giving platform, Mightycause is fully capable of managing high-volume donations via KitsapGreatGive.org and offers nonprofits many more features such as donor retention, peer-to-peer giving, and tech support.

• Online tutorials and trainings for nonprofits covering every aspect of participation, from registration to planning to follow-up.

• Toolkit, workbook, and a complete suite of branded marketing materials, some ready-to-print, and others with space for nonprofits to add their logo.

• Responsive nonprofit support and frequent emails with tips, tricks, reminders, instructions, and directions for how to proceed every step of the way.

• County-wide active web, social media, and print marketing and promotions, including full-page ads in all local papers, targeted web ads, multi-week print ad campaigns culminating in a 40-page insert listing and describing each participating nonprofit, and numerous informational articles.

• A bulk mailer capable of being returned with donations to over 107,000 households in Kitsap.
