This case study was for a tier 1 aerospace company that needed to transfer large volumes of delicate parts to production lines in the UK and France.
The company required:
– Securely enclosed parts
– Visible components
– Sealed packs

Our solution required parts to be laid out in kits. This was achieved by designing a foam-based inner with labels and cut-outs for their components. The foam inner was then housed in a robust thermoformed tray with a transparent lid. The kits dramatically improved process efficiency and protection of the parts.

In this case study, a large gift retailer wanted to remove as much plastic from their e-commerce packaging as possible. Priorities for the customer were:

The 5x5 pallet wrap hand dispenser system is an innovation in wrapping technology from Kite. Using a patented design, our 5x5 hand dispenser provides ‘machine technology in the hand’ which is ideal for customers who wrap pallets with hand stretch film. Key features include:

Safely wrapping your heavy pallets
A paint manufacturer in the north suffered from pallets collapsing due to the heavy dynamic weight movement when in transit. This caused significant health & safety concerns, accompanied by the cost of losing product and cleaning up spilt paint.
Our solution was to use a deceleration test bed to measure how the load performed using a range of films:

– Up to 33% reduction in plastic use
– Saving £200k of damages a year
