The MPI-CC Board of Directors met in person at the July meeting and virtually again in the month of August. Although the organization is moving forward, with COVID still very much present, progress has been slower than anticipated – much like you’ve experienced in your paying jobs. The Board is focused on continuing to meet monthly to stay connected and continuing to move the organization forward. A primary focus for this board in the first few months of the fiscal year is to build back our volunteer pool and get all of our processes back to running smoothly. During the peak of COVID in 2020, your board worked hard and it was all hands on deck as we experienced membership and volunteer loss due to lay offs and furloughs. We are now trending back in a positive direction and are committed to filling our volunteer roles with new and
