ynyard Golf Club is a truly special venue situated within the exclusive Wynyard estate, set in over 200 acres of mature woodland and rolling parkland, our beautiful and contemporary setting is a blank canvas for your wedding and really is the perfect backdrop!

Stepping into Wynyard Golf club really feels like you have escaped from the hustle and bustle, the setting is a haven of tranquility away from it all . Our location, surrounded by trees and woodland means that in the Summer months the grounds are perfect for drinks on the terrace in the sunshine or enjoyed during the warmth of the day, from a shady spot on the veranda.

Sparkling Winter weddings are just as spectacular, our luxury venue offers panoramic views across the parkland and golf course, so no matter what the weather you and your guests can take in the breathtaking scenery, enjoy the atmosphere and imagine your wedding here with us‌ We love weddings and we want to make your day special and unique. From the moment that you arrive, we will ensure that your wedding day will be everything that you imagined, making warmth and hospitality the heart of your celebration; ensuring each and every one of your guests also feel welcome and appreciated.

Thanks to our license we can offer civil ceremonies in our fabulous setting, where you can spend the entire day at Wynyard Golf Club. Guests can relax and mingle whilst you take advantage of the grounds to pose for some

stunning wedding photographs, all in one place with no hassle or upheaval.

Your wedding breakfast will be just as you planned it, and feature the menus you’ve carefully chosen for your guests. Our Wellington Suite, can accommodate up to 120 people, and the Duke’s Suite overlooking the golf course is perfect for smaller intimate weddings up to 50 guests or an ideal location for your civil ceremony.

Available from 6pm throughout the year, based on a minimum of 90 guests. Maximum guests is 120.

The icing on the cake hether it is an intimate wedding ceremony or an inclusive wedding day package with a civil ceremony, W guest reception and evening function, Wynyard Golf Club is the perfect setting for all celebrations.

When you book your wedding day at Wynyard Golf Club, we will also provide the following items free of charge: - Professional advice and guidance from our Wedding & Events Team - Round tables with white linen table cloths and napkins (choice of napkin presentation) - All crockery, cutlery and glassware (if required) - Cake Table and use of silver decorative cake knife - Fully Equipped Private Bar and outside terrace/seating area - Use of stunning landscaped grounds for Wedding day photography - Ample free car parking for guests - Use of separate changing facilities (if required) - Use of high chairs - Disabled access and facilities Our experienced Wedding & Events Team will guide you throughout the planning process and ensure that your every wish is catered for.

What next?

Firstly…

Call and speak with our Events Manager. We will then book you an appointment to meet with you and show you the facilities we have to offer.

Provisionally hold your preferred date, this will give you time to contact the registrar or church to check if your date is available. We can hold this date for 2 weeks.

Then…

Once you have confirmed your date, the events manager will then arrange a meeting with you to enable you to come in and read, discuss and then sign the terms and conditions of booking. Keep a copy of these for your records.

A deposit of £600 is required which is non-refundable.

If you have any questions between booking your date and to your next meeting, please contact our events team who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

6 Weeks before your Wedding…

Our Events Manager with contact you to arrange your final wedding meeting. At this meeting we will discuss your final plans for your special day; this will involve confirming your menu choices, seating plans, room layout and any other details. Once number of guests and menu choices are finalised, a final invoice will be raised and will be due for payment at this meeting. Your deposit will be deducted from the final amount. No refunds will be issued after this date. A list of suppliers you will be using for your wedding will be required.

2 Weeks before your wedding…

Send your final table plan and room layout to our Events Team

Day Before…

Bring any favours, table decorations, place cards etc which you would like to us to use to set the room for you. We can not guarantee access to the room the day before your wedding, but full instructions of set up can be given to ensure the room is set as you would like it. If you have any external suppliers please arrange for these to come on the actual wedding, please inform our Events Team of these.
