Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL) has made a significant contribution to the Anpara Thermal Power Station (TPS) by successfully supplying Vertical Turbine (VT) Pumps for the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). These high-performance pumps are critical to the station’s water management system, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. The power station with a total power-generation capacity of 3850 MW uses nine operational units, all of which are coal-fired thermal power stations. These expansions have been instrumental in reducing power shortages thereby contributing to the state’s economic development.
