In this class we will discuss how to configure your iPad, setup an email account, send photos by email, setup a calendar with reminders, create a contact list, map a location, download books to your library, set up iTunes account for music and more. Using free photo book software, this class will show you how to layout your story with text, photos, and other graphical elements. This step-by-step class offers lots of original ideas and practical tips for composing your book. You will also learn how to transfer photos from your digital camera to your computer, and incorporate them into your book. This is a workshop class so you will have time to work on your project.

Exploring Internet and Email for 50+ Expand your world with new and exciting discoveries using the Internet and email. Learn to surf the web, navigate websites, search for information, and save favorite sites for easier access in the future. You will also work with email by sending and receiving messages, replying to an email, and working with attachments. Security and privacy settings will also be addressed so you can stay safe when using the Internet and email. Tuition includes a textbook.

Digital Photography, Editing and Photo Organization for 50+ If you’re struggling to understand your camera and are overwhelmed with too many photos on your computer, this class is for you! Learn the fundamental settings of your camera so you can get your photos right the first time. You will also learn how to do basic edits on your computer using Google Photos, a free editing tool in which you can do various color enhancements and resizing. This class will also go over fundamental ways to organize your photos with basic renaming and backup practices that will allow you to find your files more easily. Lastly, you’ll be introduced to some photobook sites that will allow you to create various projects so you can enjoy your memories for years to come.
