Junior, Infant and Pre-School Newsletter Issue 9 Friday 2 March 2018 Dear Parents I trust you have all enjoyed a good half term break and the children have all coped with getting back into the routine of school! Despite the mornings beginning to lighten, which is always energising, I cannot say that spring is on its way after the Arctic conditions we have witnessed this week. Let’s hope that some warmer weather lies ahead. We had a stream of visitors on Saturday for our Disney Activity Morning and I was very proud of the J4 pupils who welcomed our visitors. Many of our visitors commented on the enthusiasm of the pupils, their care and appreciation for their school, as well as their impeccable manners. With such a short half term, you will not be surprised to hear that we have an action-packed three weeks ahead of us. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our Pre-School and I1 parents to our Mothers’ Day Afternoon Tea and all our junior parents to our Cheese and Wine Performing Arts Evening. Our older pupils also have many sporting fixtures and musical events to look forward to. Please can we remind parents that children are to wear a school coat which is available from the school shop. With the unpredictable nature of the weather at the moment, it is important that the children come fully prepared and dressed appropriately. We would also appreciate it if you could check all coats carefully, as some (named) coats have gone missing. With best wishes for a happy and relaxing weekend.
