Junior, Infant and Pre-School Newsletter Issue 3 Friday 21 October 2016 Dear Parents
It is often said that ‘variety is the spice of life’ and this edition of our newsletter certainly succumbs to that way of thinking. There is so much going on at the moment with outstanding curricular and co-curricular activities, that truly motivate our pupils to be the best they can be. We had a successful Open Afternoon and I would like to thank all the parents who were committed to bringing their children into school on the Sunday, some of whose boys had already represented school in Rugby on the Saturday – perhaps we should provide Bed and Breakfast! Our celebration of Harvest was testament to the generosity within our community and our thoughts about others less fortunate than ourselves. I would like to thank Reverend Bunday for leading a wonderful assembly. The sports teams have had a busy few weeks with every J3 and J4 boy and girl having the opportunity to represent the school. Lastly, I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of all the new pupils and parents within our community. Changing schools can be a difficult experience but the welcome that our new pupils and parents receive makes this transition far easier than at most schools. This is something to be proud of and very much in keeping with the family ethos of our school. I wish you all a most enjoyable half term. Mrs AS Roberts Headmistress
