Junior, Infant and Pre-School Newsletter Issue 11 Friday 27 April 2018 Dear Parents It has been lovely to see everyone return refreshed after the Easter break. I am delighted to report that we are well and truly back in the swing of things and everyone is keen to make the most of their lessons. It has been wonderful to return in bright sunshine (albeit for only three days!) for what promises to be a very enjoyable term. You will have seen from the school calendar that there is plenty ahead to challenge the children and extra-curricular activities are well underway. Already, our annual Charity Triathlon has taken place to raise money for Brian House Children’s Hospice, more details of which you can read about later in this newsletter, as well as a very successful Coffee Concert that took place yesterday in the Old Hall. Over the Easter Holidays, we took a group of forty eight children on a ski trip to Austria and a wonderful time was had by all. The children were a credit to the school and came back having learned so much about themselves, as well as improving their skiing technique. This week we have spoken to all the children about the importance of looking smart. Your support is very much appreciated and we would ask that all parents ensure that their children come to school dressed appropriately. Thank you so much for your valued support. Our school is a vibrant place to be and your children are a real credit to you. We are not able to get everything right all of the time but we can assure you that we will always work tirelessly to secure the very best for our children. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
