as likely to persist and graduate
KIPP schools are closing the college completion gap. Nationally, 45% of white adults between the ages of 25 to 29 have a bachelor’s degree, compared to 26% of Black adults and 23% of Latinx adults. This study found that KIPP middle and high schools have a combined effect of approximately 19 percentage points on college completion rates for a group of students that is almost entirely composed of Black or Latinx students.

A gift to KIPP North Carolina Public Schools is an investment in future of our state as we prepare our students to take on the world. A few ways that your support can help us transform lives:
• Scholarships: The average cost of college has more than doubled in the 21st century. The average KIPP NC student attending a public 4-year in-state college or university spends $17,113* for only tuition, room and board in one academic year. Most of our KIPP NC families cannot afford those expenses.
• Professional development: KIPP NC believes in growing our talent pipeline through internal professional development programs like the Principal in Residence Program. Philanthropic support demonstrates your commitment to creating the next generation of education leaders in our state.
• Unrestricted gifts: Gifts without limits show your trust and confidence in KIPP NC leadership to do what’s best for our scholars, faculty and staff. Unrestricted gifts create stability, longevity, and allow our leaders to be ambitious and innovative.
