COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS
College & Career Counseling
The college and career counseling program at KCP begins during freshman year to ensure that 100% of students are college and career bound. KCP maintains a low student-to-counselor ratio, making it possible for every student to have access to individualized support throughout the college application process. The college and career counseling team empowers families to prepare for the college process by providing workshops to help them navigate admissions and plan for the cost of college. Every KCP senior also takes College & Career Counseling as a course and through workshops, individual conferences, and peer reviews, all seniors create and begin to implement their post-graduation plans.
NAF Academies
The NAF Academy of Finance and NAF Academy of IT aims to prepare high school students for careers in finance and information technology respectively. Through a rigorous career-focused curriculum, real-world experiences in work-based learning, and engagement opportunities with professionals students in these programs are setting the stage for college success and rewarding careers. Students apply to either Academy at the end of their freshman year and then spend the remainder of their time at KCP learning and growing with a small cohort of peers in their NAF Academy.
