Kinloch House, in conjunction with Hendry Ramsay and Waters (Worldwide) Ltd., are offering challenging driven pheasant and partridge shooting sport in September, October, November and December 2019/2020, on some of the finest shooting estates in Perthshire.

We are delighted to have been able to put together the following shooting programmes of driven pheasant, partridge and duck shooting, from early September to late December 2019/2020. The particulars of what’s on offer are set out below.

All estates have been selected for the quality of their birds & facilities. We rotate between a number of estates — which ones are used will depend on availability at the time of booking. We have the ability to provide driven shooting for groups based on their capabilities, from novice to intermediate to experts at high birds shots.

For those who have not shot driven birds in Scotland before, we suggest a day be added at the start of the experience for gun fit and an introduction to driven birds with simulated clay bird shooting, so that we can assess the capability and needs of the shooter during the driven bird day — for those who are novices or have restricted mobility we also provide loaders.

We welcome double guns, where again a loader will be provided.

Visitors permits can be arranged if you are bringing your own guns.

Kinloch House Hotel is a fine example of a Scottish country house, with traditional oak panelling and open log fires, combining informality with quality in a beautiful setting.

EXAMPLE PROGRAMME We can offer programmes of between 1 to 5 days shooting, depending on your needs.

Example programme of 4 days shooting, for 200 birds per day, and 6 nights accommodation KINLOCH HOUSE & HENRY, RAMSAY & WATERS SCOTTISH SHOOT 2019/20 Day 1, Thursday — Arrive at Edinburgh Airport.

You will be met at the airport and transported to Kinloch House Hotel, where you will settle in and enjoy a welcome drink, followed by dinner.

Day 2, Friday — Shooting day.

For non-shooters — A private tour of Glamis Castle, the birthplace and childhood home of the late Queen Mother www.glamis-castle.co.uk Day 3, Saturday — Shooting day.

For non-shooters — A trip to the House of Bruar, with personal shopper and private V.I.P. welcome. The House of Bruar is famous for country clothing, cashmere, gifts and much more. www.houseofbruar.com Day 4, Sunday — Day off with the option for a tour as a group or as individuals Day 5, Monday — Shooting day

Non-shooters to join the shoot for lunch Scottish evening with piper and an address to the haggis Day 7, Wednesday — Departure from Kinloch House Hotel.

Transportation back to the airport.

Directions to Kinloch House from Edinburgh After leaving the airport, follow signs to A90, which leads to the Forth Road Bridge and M90. Stay on the M90 heading for Perth. Do not take the 1st left exit to Perth, follow signs for Scone Palace. Take the 2nd exit for Perth, just after you have crossed the bridge. Stay on this road through 2 sets of traffic lights. At the 3rd set of lights, keep left and take the slip road left, following signs for Scone Palace. Follow this road, the A93, for 16 miles, in the direction of Blairgowrie. Once in Blairgowrie, just past the Cottage Hospital is a left turn, signposted Dunkeld Road, A923. The Hotel is 3 miles along this road.

Directions to Kinloch House from Glasgow Airport After leaving the airport, follow signs for the M8 to Glasgow city. At junction 3 of the M8 join the A80 till junction 4 where you join the M80 to Stirling. From Stirling take the M9 to Dunblane then join the A9 to Perth. Do not take the 1st left exit to Perth, follow signs for Scone Palace. Take the 2nd exit for Perth, just after you have crossed the bridge. Stay on this road through 2 sets of traffic lights.
