Certain rotations are inpatient focused, and we treat patients admitted to the hospital or cardiac ICU. Some rotations will be focused on procedures such as cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology, while others are all about imaging interpretation of echocardiograms, cardiac MRIs, and nuclear stress tests. Our daily schedule changes significantly depending on the rotation.”

In clinic, I see patients for their preop and post-op visits and perform small procedures including tissue expansions and wound debridements. In the operating room, I am very hands on throughout each case, and I assist with taking skin grafts and closing surgical sites.”
