King's House School | Co-Curricular Activities and Wrap Around Care | Autumn Term 2025

Page 1

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND WRAPAROUND CARE

Co-curricular activities are vital to the broad and balanced education we offer at King’s House School, and they complement the central work done in the classroom. Music, sport and drama all play an integral part in the pupils’ lives, both within the curriculum and beyond.

Co-curricular activities change on a termly basis, and we welcome feedback to ensure that we are providing a well-rounded programme. This booklet has been created to provide parents with further information about clubs that need to be booked, and to help you plan in advance.

SOCS

King’s House uses SOCS (School Online Communication System) to manage fixtures, clubs, and KHS provided wraparound care. The school calendar is available online here: kingshouseschool.org/news-dates/calendar/

The system is split into separate ‘modules’, which sync together to give parents and the school a comprehensive overview of what the school and individual pupil’s term will look like.

• Sport

• Co-Curricular

The sports portal is a dedicated site which shows all fixtures, team sheets and any other relevant information for sports fixtures. This is managed by the PE department.

The co-curricular module enables parents to book clubs and wraparound care and staff to check which activities pupils are booked into, and to take registers for class management and billing.
