BSME GAMES
Our biggest multi-sport event of the year took place in early March, returning after three years, with 37 students from Years 5 and 6 representing us at the BSME Games in Abu Dhabi. Students had been training all year, preparing to compete in a variety of sports; football (boys and girls), netball, boys basketball, athletics and swimming.
As part of the experience, all students stayed in Abu Dhabi with the PE team making it a weekend to remember not only for the sport but for the memories made with each other. Once again, our students were absolutely phenomenal all weekend, too many individual and team successes to mention but we were delighted to be able to share these in a special phase celebration assembly on our return.

Both the basketball and netball teams won their competitions with the boys football and swimming finishing 3rd and the athletics team in 4th. Once all the points had been combined over the weekend, KSD was announced runner up of the BSME Games.
A fantastic achievement and we celebrated in style at the gala dinner on the final evening.

To experience representing Kings' School Dubai at the highest level is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was really glad I got to be part of the team and enjoyed competing in all the sports.

I loved the football and although we lost in the semi-finals, the reaction we showed to win our next game and come 3rd overall was amazing. The overall experience was one to remember.
