WORLD SCHOOL GAMES January 2023

This year, we entered two teams into the World School Games, providing more opportunities for students from Years 5 and 6 to compete at the highest level against schools both in Dubai and internationally.

Competing across three days in January, students participated in football (girls and boys), athletics and swimming. There were some excellent individual and team successes across the various sports and it was fantastic to see such great sportsmanship and support for all the competitors.

Both squads performed incredibly well and we were delighted to see our B squad crowned champions of the development competition.

Each day was a new chapter of the World School Games. I was really proud to be captain for the Girls A Squad and it was really exciting competing against other schools.

Participating in the World School Games was a great opportunity, I got a lot better at athletics, specifically high jump, and got to make new friends.
