15 - 19 May 2023 THE BOOK | 2022 - 2023
In line with the UK, our annual Mental Health Awareness and Positive Education Week took place from Monday 15th to Friday 19th May. Throughout the week, students took part in daily activities to enhance their well-being. They also had a range of Positive Education lessons, including discussions about what mental health is and exploring how strategies for supporting our physical health also support our mental health. For the younger students, this involved understanding how they can manage 'big' feelings and identifying key people in their lives who they can talk to. For our older students, discussions included digital well-being and responsibilities, and parents were also invited into school for a presentation on digital awareness for online safety and well-being.

We learnt that we cant' always see mental health like physical health but we can still do things to look after our mental health. This includes our diet, exercise and talking to people you trust.
