Displays of artwork including Classical Portraiture, Futurism and Natural Forms.
Photography - Year 10 pupil shoots using our DSLR cameras and studio lighting in our newly revamping Photography studio and editing suite.
Our GCSE and A Level Exhibition will also be on display
Biology Life Under the Lens: Come along to observe biological specimens using the microscopes. Can you identify what each specimen is?
Careers Talk to our Careers Adviser, Mrs Pike about the support she offers.
Chemistry Be enthralled by Chemistry in action, including our “flash bang” demonstrations. Watch out for a hands-on experience with colourful flames and pH testing of household substances. Big explosions are guaranteed!

See our World Championship qualifying robots. Our teams will be busy building their robots for the new season. There will also be a chance to laser cut and personalise your own mini robot!
Join in some Drama games, improvisations and performing script extracts. Meet our pupils who will show you our costume, lighting and set design resources.
English Using visual stimulus, write your own poem or an exciting opening to a thrilling story. Complete a wordsearch or crossword based on our favourite books!

Modern Foreign Languages
Explore the world of languages. Discover more about French, German and Spanish while testing your knowledge on our fun Flag Trail.
Music Come and join in with an ensemble. Performances will be taking place around school during your tour. Find out about the free instrumental lessons we offer to all Year 7 pupils.
PE, Games and Outdoor Education
Have a go at bouldering on our climbing wall and join in the various netball and agility activities. Rugby sessions will be taking place outside on the field.
Religious Studies Challenge your logical faculties with our ‘philosotrees’. Complete a flag of well wishes or prayer for our positivity line.
Physics Come and explore how forces shape movement and how light behaves through interactive Physics investigations.
Sixth Form
Business and Economics Learn about some of the UK’s current infrastructure projects and the use of behavioural ‘nudges’ to encourage us to do the ‘right’ thing.
Politics Take a look at the School’s previous mock election campaign and consider some of the big political questions from the UK and USA.
Law Watch the student films and decide what crime has taken place or whether somebody can claim compensation.

Deadline for applications for Year 7 entry in September 2026 is FRIDAY 31 OCTOBER
The Entrance Examination is SATURDAY 15 NOVEMBER
Prospective pupils will be required to sit papers in English Comprehension, English Composition and Mathematics.
