SIXTH FORM OPEN EVENING FOR PROSPECTIVE ENTRANTS* Friday 1 October 2021

The Sixth Form Open Evening will be held from 6.00-8.00pm for all prospective Year 12 entrants and their parents, including current Year 11 KES pupils. The reception area will be in the B Block foyer, found at the lower entrance of the School and the Headmaster, Mr Martin Boden, will speak in the Wroughton Theatre at 6.05pm and 7.00pm.

OPEN DAY* Saturday 2 October 2021 This is our main Senior School Open Morning. Individual tours of the Senior School are conducted by pupils, showing all aspects of school life and our many new facilities. The morning will start at 9.00am and end at 12.00pm. There will be the opportunity to meet with staff in all subject areas. Prospective parents and children are welcome to attend in family groups. The reception area for the Senior School will be in the B Block foyer, found at the lower entrance of the School and the Headmaster, Mr Martin Boden, will speak in the Wroughton Theatre at 9.30am and again at 11.00am. ACTIVITY MORNING* Saturday 6 November 2021 Children who will be in Year 6 in November 2021 in local schools and at King Edward’s Junior School are invited to spend this Saturday morning at King Edward’s, from 8.45am-1.00pm, taking part in our Activity Morning. There will be a wide range of activities, with ample opportunity to sample the many different aspects of life at secondary school level. SENIOR SCHOOL SPECIAL ‘TEACH-IN’ Saturday 11 December 2021

We shall be holding a special ‘Teach-in’ between 9.00am and 12.30pm to assist those Year 7 applicants to the Senior School who have completed and returned the Registration Form and Fee to take the Entrance Examination. Senior staff will put the children at their ease, explain what is involved in each paper and give them practice of sample questions. Refreshments will be provided during the break. This session is open to current King Edward’s Junior School pupils as well as those applying from other schools, and all prospective entrants are strongly encouraged to attend.

SENIOR SCHOOL ENTRANCE EXAMINATION – YEARS 7, 8, 9 AND 10 Saturday 22 January 2022

All children sitting for examinations on this day should report to the Wroughton Theatre by 8.45am.
