Kingdome Fellowship Estate Planning Booklet

Dear Beloved Kingdom Fellowship Family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

It is with great joy and a heart full of purpose that I welcome you to our Estate Planning Seminar on Saturday, December 6, 2025. We gather not merely to discuss financial matters, but to embrace an act of love, wisdom, and faithful stewardship that will bless generations to come.

Let me share something that may surprise you: over half of American adults—across every demographic— lack formal estate planning documents. In fact, only about 24 percent of Americans have a will, and this number has steadily declined in recent years. Many of us tell ourselves, “I’ll get around to it,” or “I don’t have enough assets to worry about.” But beloved, estate planning isn’t just about wealth—it’s about values, legacy, and caring for those we love.

The truth is, we are living in an extraordinary moment in history. Over the next 25 years, an estimated $105 trillion will transfer from one generation to the next in the United States alone. This represents more than money—it represents opportunity, ministry potential, and the chance to invest in God’s kingdom work for decades to come.

I’ve observed that most people begin their estate planning journey after significant life events: reaching retirement age, celebrating a milestone birthday, or experiencing the loss of a loved one. But why wait for a crisis or a calendar to prompt us to act wisely? Today is the day to take this important step.

I must also acknowledge a sobering reality: significant disparities exist in estate planning along racial lines. Historically, White Americans have been more likely to have estate planning documents than Black or Hispanic Americans. While we’re beginning to see this gap narrow in some areas, we still have work to do. That’s why gatherings like today’s are so vital—they equip us with knowledge, break down barriers, and empower every member of our community to plan with confidence and clarity.

Estate planning is biblical stewardship in action. It’s being intentional about the resources God has entrusted to us—whether great or small. It’s ensuring that your family is cared for, that confusion and conflict are minimized during difficult times, and that your charitable heart continues to beat through planned giving to causes and ministries that matter to you.

Today’s seminar is designed to demystify the process, answer your questions, and provide practical tools to help you take the next step. We have assembled a team of expert presenters who will guide you through essential topics:

- Wills, Trusts, and Estates - Understanding the foundational documents that protect your family

- Heirs Property and Family Assets - Preserving wealth and property across generations

- Donor-Advised Funds and Charitable Legacy - Continuing your kingdom impact through planned giving

After these presentations, you’ll have the opportunity to engage directly with our speakers during an expert panel discussion, moderated by Rev. Loxley O’Connor, where we’ll address your specific questions and concerns.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or updating existing plans, you’re in the right place. Our expert presenters are here to serve you with wisdom, professionalism, and compassion.

I encourage you to engage fully, ask questions without hesitation, and see this time as an investment in your family’s future and your own peace of mind. You are not just planning for the distribution of assets—you are crafting a legacy that reflects your faith, your values, and your love.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for taking this important step. And thank you for being faithful stewards of all that God has placed in your hands.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you plan wisely and love deeply.

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children...”
