Iwassittinginmylivingroomwatchingthe snowfallthinkingit would bejustanother shortsnow thatwouldmelt inhours. Itwasn'tthe case, it snowed forthree daysina row.
This isthe story ofthe 3 days of insane snow inmyhometown.
The firstdayIcouldn'treallybelieve there was so muchsnow, soI wenton a 'scouting'mission inthe parktosee if the snowwasreallythatbig. ThenexthourI wasbackwith myhelmet andgoggleson, my boardinonehandandashovelinthe other. Fromtherebeganthreedaysofpurejoy.
On second day itwas still snowing, the snow was still fresh, another perfect day to send it in the park. Because itwasthesecondtimenow,andI wasquitefamiliar withgoingtothe 'slopes', I messagedsome friends togettogether and ride, almostallwere down, so, notlosinganytimewesetfor the park We tried something newthistime, snowboarding intheskate park. It wasevenbetter, fifty-fifty-ingand boardsliding onrails,droppingininthegiantconcretepoolsnowfloodedwithsnow, everything seemed toogoodtobe true.
On the thirdday the snowingstopped, the 'huge'snowshrunkovernight, andevery time we dida trick onthekicker weneeded to putsnowbackon the landingzone soitwouldn'tallbemud, soweallshifted tosnowboardinginthe skatepark. Onthe fourth dayIdidn't even want togo anymore, I knew that the good snowwasgone, sotherewasn'tanypointhustlingwiththelittle snowthatwasleft.

Looking back, I can'tbelieve we pulledthisone off, snowboardinginBucharest, we didn'tevenneedto save moneyup foranexpensive skipass, wejust wentwiththe bus andwere alreadythere. Me andthe guyswere so stokedwe spent3 entire daysridingupanddownthe 30-35 metersof hillavailable. Onand onandon, sliding for hours. Itfeelslike a distant memorynow, butduringthose 3 daysI made somany acquaintances, filmed, did somanylaps, had somuchfun.
