ARCH IS MADNESS for Nick Brockmeyer. With back-to-back trips to Florida and Arizona to view dozens of exhibition games, it’s the St. Charles-based sports agency’s busiest time of year. In addition to the countless spring training games, Brockmeyer’s client, undefeated boxing champion Ryan “The Irish Outlaw” Coyne, was training in Philly for the World Boxing Association light heavyweight elimination match March 9 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Coyne, also a St. Charles native, was ready to duke it out for the WBA’s light heavyweight championship title, until a bad cut in a sparing session with champion boxer Yusaf Mack forced him for April 12 on Showtime in Vegas. In the midst of coast-to-coast games and boxing saga, Brockmeyer, president and founder of Platinum Sports & Entertainment, manages the careers of dozens of star athletes. As the largest baseball agency in the Midwest, Brockmeyer represents Major and Minor League baseball players, NFL players and a female championship racecar driver. The agency also advises star high-school and college athletes across the United States and around the world, including Latin America,
