For more than 40 years Kohsel has been producing transformers for customers all over the world.

Our development department in Hoerning accounts for a very important part of the designing- and productive phase. This development department works in close contact with the customers’ constructing engineers and delelops transformers, which live up to the demands of the customers as well as to the official requirements of the authorities.

Due to faithful, flexible and fully qualified staff members, working hand in hand with the production techniques of today, we are able to deliver high quality transformers on the appointed time.

Selection of alternative materials As a proactive supplier, we are happy to propose alternative raw materials to optimise supply safety, price and quality.

We collaborate with many raw material producers globally.

Comparison of alternative raw materials is based on long-term collection of technical data.

UL-approved materials We have entered all UL-relevant data into an integrated database, which checks the UL validity of approved materials daily, and ensures quality for Certificate of Conformance (CoC) and UL Description of Class Insulation.

Mechanical design We take an active part in development, and can help with design of mechanical components 3D CAD modelling and subsequent production in Eastern Europe or Asia.

Design of plastic items A specially designed winding form can often optimise price and quality.

We are always happy to help with design, material choice, 3D CAD modelling, SLS print and flow-analyses for the manufacture of tools, item investigation and production.

We have internal injection moulding facilities and work closely with a number of plastics manufacturers in Asia.
