Brief/Session/Document Title: Allanah Shaw Brief: Create a logo and identity for a fine artist Allanah Shaw Background / Considerations She is a third year fine art student who specialises in landscape paintings and experimenting with print. Using acids and stopping fluids she create prints from lino. Her work includes a lot of paint/acid and creates rustic looking prints from her area. She has done a lot of different prints in her local area and focuses on the idea of memory and the loss of it through the years. She wants her branding to look rustic and fit in with the concept of memory and also relate to her style of work. As her work is very much print based she wants everything print, and not digital. The kind of things she needs would be tags to hang off her paintings, business cards, she did also ask for a notebook which would fit in with the identity. Everything must look rustic like her designs and also be functional as she is a student and will be a budget job. Mandatory Requirements Must be focussed on print. The designs must function alongside paintings, in galleries and also be able to be mailed out. Must take into consideration print and how my designs will express the way in which Allanah works and her style of work.
