Run over two days, with Qualifying on Saturday and Eliminations on Sunday, the South Coast 660 event provided plenty of action, marking a successful return to drag racing in the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series. After Covid-19 halted all racing, you could tell by the attitude taken by racers, track staff and spectators that they were ecstatic to be back racing again. With no less than ten well-subscribed brackets making up the meet, the spectators were treated to a variety of cars and bikes on track including Super Stock, Top Sportsman, Super Sedan, Super Gas and Supercharged Outlaws to name just a few.
