Featuring wineries from Napa Valley
to our annual Cork & Barrel wine event series!
We are thrilled to have you join us as we return to our roots as an outdoor event. Our deepest gratitude to Central Oregon Community College for making it possible to gather in this wonderful new venue.
This year we’re highlighting the renowned Napa Valley region, welcoming seven outstanding wineries. Enjoy this unique opportunity to chat with these stellar vintners this weekend!
In addition to wine, you’ll also find locally-crafted beer, cider, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages in the tent.
Cork & Barrel is also a feast for foodies! At Sip, you’ll find a broad array of savory and sweet small bites offered by our local food partners.
We’re excited to welcome back the Neuman Hotel Group and Executive Chef Franco Console, who will create another memorable Grand Cru dinner, following a delicious prelude by Zydeco.
Cork & Barrel would not be possible without our generous and committed guest wineries, breweries, cideries, chefs, restaurants and eateries, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
Thank you for helping us create a top-notch event and successful fundraiser!
And to our attendees, a huge thanks for YOUR support. Every dollar you spend or donate at Cork & Barrel helps fund direct services for local children and families impacted by abuse. When you bid on an auction item, buy a raffle ticket, or raise your paddle, you’re supporting free child abuse evaluations, family support, and ongoing therapy for our region’s most vulnerable children. You are giving hope, changing lives, and making your community a safer place for families.
Thank you for joining us at Cork & Barrel. In line with our mission of keeping families safe, please celebrate responsibly and have a wonderful time!
Cheers!
Gil Levy
Sandy Cummings Executive Director Chair, Board of Directors
Every dollar you spend and donate at Cork & Barrel helps support healing for children who have experienced abuse.
Cork & Barrel is KIDS Center’s largest fundraiser. Over three days, people like you help raise more than $500,000 to help fund KIDS Center’s critical services. Thanks to your generosity, families are wrapped with services and support. Every child and family referred to KIDS Center can receive a child abuse evaluation, family advocacy, and healing therapy at no cost.
By joining us tonight, you are giving hundreds of Central Oregon children the chance to heal and experience a brighter future.
Thank you for making a difference!
It takes intensive interventions to help children heal from abuse. When children and their families are referred to KIDS Center, they are wrapped with services and support. Children receive an independent child abuse evaluation, which includes a forensic interview and a head-totoe medical exam. Their family is assigned a family advocate to help connect them with community resources. After the evaluation, children, their siblings, and non-offending caregivers can participate in healing therapy for as long as needed.
Without these interventions, child victims of abuse can struggle with devastating, life-long impacts: difficulty in school, poor physical and mental health, social isolation, an inability to trust, and increased risk of addiction.
It costs—on average—$7,600 to provide direct services to a child and their family. These costs reflect the time-consuming work of our team of highly-trained professionals, who must provide extensive documentation, preserve evidence, and coordinate with community partners.
Cork & Barrel raises close to 20% of KIDS Center’s annual budget, making it possible for families to receive these critical services at no cost.
Thanks to your generosity at Cork & Barrel, more than 400 Central Oregon children and families will start their healing journey at KIDS Center this year.

See our Live Auction Packages starting on page 39.
1. All payments shall be by cash, credit card, stock, charitable fund, certified check, or personal check made payable to KIDS Center. We accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards.
2. Full payment must be made for all purchases at the conclusion of the Auction, unless payment arrangements have been made, such as payment to be coming from a stock or fund.
3. Cashiers, located in the Check-In Tent, will accept payment after the auction, unless Purchaser has previously opted to use the Quick Check-Out method (below).
Quick Check-In saves time by eliminating the need to stop and pay at the Check-Out area at the end of the Auction.
1. At registration, swipe your MasterCard, VISA or American Express card, or give your credit card information to the cashier. NO CHARGES will be issued to your card unless you make purchases or donations. If you opted to keep a credit card on file from your ticket purchase, that credit card will be verified at check-in for easy checkout and payment.
2. Maximize the impact of your gift by covering your 3% credit card processing fee. Just let us know at check-in! (Cork & Barrel credit card fees cost KIDS Center almost $15,000 each year!)
3. Please verify your cell phone number to receive your unique bidding link. This will ensure only you and your authorized bidders are accessing your account for the Online Auction.
4. At the end of the evening, simply proceed to the Check-Out Tent (the same area where you checked in) to verify and claim your purchases. If no purchases are made, your card will not be charged, and any voided blank checks will be returned to you by mail. On Friday, you can carry any items you won to the Check-Out Tent. Have your bid number ready to verify you are the winner, and you can take your items home.
1. KIDS Center and the Cork & Barrel Wine Event (the “Seller”) reserves the right to refuse admission to, or attendance by, any person at the Auction or related events.
2. The auctioneer is the agent for the Seller.
3. All wine and other items are sold “as is.” Purchasers must rely only on their own inspection and/or opinion; Seller makes no warranties, expressed or implied.
4. Seller does not warrant or represent, and expressly denies responsibility for, and in no event shall be responsible for, the accuracy or description of wines offered, or the correctness of the catalog, including, but not limited to the origin, rarity, age, genuineness, quality, quantity, or condition.
5. Unless specifically set forth, all auction items expire on July 20, 2025.
1. All bids are per item as set forth in the catalog, unless otherwise announced by the auctioneer.
2. Seller may combine or divide any item(s) at their sole discretion.
3. Auctioneer and Seller have the right to reject any bid at any time prior to the fall of the hammer without liability. If the Auctioneer decides that any opening does not correspond with the value of the article offered, the Auctioneer may reject the bid and withdraw the item from sale; and if, having acknowledged an opening bid, the Auctioneer decides that any advance thereafter is insufficient, the auctioneer may reject the advance.
4. No live auction bid shall be valid unless expressly acknowledged by the Auctioneer.
5. The highest Bidder acknowledged during the live, silent, or online auction shall be the Purchaser and therein assumes full risk and responsibility.
6. By raising a bidder paddle, making a proxy bid, or making a silent or online auction bid, the Bidder warrants that s/he will pay the full purchase price if successful.
7. The Auctioneer shall have the absolute right to resolve any dispute, re-offer, resell, or withdraw the lot in question. If any dispute arises after the sale, the Seller’s sale records shall be conclusive in all respects.
8. All items offered for sale may be subject to a minimum price below which such lot will not be sold. That minimum price may be publicly stated or confidential.
9. Silent and online auction bid closing times will be posted. At close, the highest acknowledged Bidder shall be deemed to have purchased the item.
1. Purchases must be picked up by the purchaser prior to leaving the venue at the conclusion of the Auction. Buyers will receive a receipt listing their purchases and after reviewing and approving the receipt, they will pick up their items.
2. If buyers are not present at the conclusion, buyers may pick up items on Friday, July 26 at KIDS Center from 9 am–6 pm. Or call 541-383-5958 to make special arrangements.
3. Any item(s) not removed from the venue by the above time will be held for three (3) weeks at KIDS Center, 1375 NW Kingston Ave, Bend, OR 97703. KIDS Center will make an attempt to contact the winning bidder. If the Bidder fails to retrieve the item(s) in question by the end of the three-week period, KIDS Center will assume the Bidder has abandoned the property and relinquished it to KIDS Center, treat the Bidder’s payment as a straight donation to KIDS Center, and seek to make other use of the item(s) that the Bidder has abandoned.
4. Purchaser shall incur all shipping and insurance costs for items not picked up at the conclusion of the Auction. Shipping arrangements are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
5. Out-of-state Bidders shall be familiar with the laws of their locality since shipping regulations, especially those pertaining to beverages of alcoholic content, vary from state to state.
6. In the event of loss or damage to any item incurred in the course of its handling or storage during the auction event and before possession is taken by the Buyer, the Buyer will be compensated as follows: 1) if the item has not been paid for, the exact amount of the bid placed will be subtracted from the Buyer’s purchases; or 2) if the item has been paid for, the Buyer will receive a refund of that bid amount.

THE WINERIES
New to Cork & Barrel!
Situated on an historic vineyard, with 135-yearold Zinfandel vines that still yield an elegant fruit, the team at Carnard has learned, “If you take care of the vines, the vines take care of you.” Carnard emphasizes quality over quantity in its yearly production of nine single vineyard wines. Produced from sustainably-grown, dry-farmed grapes, Canard wines are the finest expression of each varietal and reflect the unique characteristics of the terroir.

New to Cork & Barrel!
The century-old heritage vines in Chase’s Hayne Vineyard are the heart and soul of the wines they produce. Hayne Vineyard has been a renowned source of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and more recently, Cabernet Sauvignon. Proprietor Katie Hayne Simpson is the fifth generation steward of this special property. To preserve her family’s legacy, Katie is committed to organic and sustainable farming—with no chemical intervention.

New to Cork & Barrel!
Located in the famed Oakville appellation, this family-owned Napa Valley winery, founded in 1982, is lauded as the first in the U.S. to craft a 100-point Cabernet Sauvignon. The Wine Treasury notes, “The style of the wines from Groth consistently shows a marked level of elegance and balance along with the classic, ripe style one expects of Napa, the Cabernets showing a fine line of acidity and graininess of tannic texture which beautifully sets off the ripe fruit.”
New to Cork & Barrel!
Family-owned and operated for five generations, C. Mondavi & Family traces its lineage to their founder, Cesare Mondavi, an Italian immigrant who became involved in the California wine and grape business 100 years ago. C. Mondavi & Family includes 12 notable brands, including Charles Krug.

Focusing exclusively on Cabernet Sauvignon, Revana believes that “wine quality begins in the vineyard.” Revana sources fruit from some of the greatest vineyards in Napa Valley, including their own estate vineyard north of St. Helena. Grapes are handharvested, hand-sorted, and then optically-sorted to ensure only the very best fruit goes into each vintage. Revana’s wines showcase the unique terrior of each vineyard. Revana’s sister brand, Alexana Winery of the Willamette Valley, earned rave reviews from Cork & Barrel attendees in 2022.

New to Cork & Barrel!
A gem in the heart of Stags Leap District, Silverado Vineyards gets its name from the historic Silverado Vineyard and the old mining town that looks over Napa Valley. Silverado Vineyards was one of the first to plant Cabernet in Stags Leap in the 1960s. Winemaker Allison Rodriguez is only the third winemaker in Silverado’s history, and brings years of experience working in diverse growing regions. From the estate, the winery produces and bottles singlevineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sangiovese, as well as a variety of other small production wines.

New to Cork & Barrel!
Silver Oak started with two friends and a handshake. Their vision: focus on one varietal, Cabernet Sauvignon. Age it exclusively in American oak. And make it worthy of cellaring for decades to come. Now a national icon, Silver Oak has fueled America’s love affair with Cabernet Sauvignon. After a fire destroyed their historic Oakville winery, the owners sized the opportunity to rebuild a new, state-of-theart winery. Even though Silver Oak has marked its 50th year, the winery believes, “Our best wines are still ahead of us.”

A Champagne house’s “Tête de Cuvée’’ refers to their very top range of Champagne. This year’s 2-bottle Tête de Cuvée is a sublime offering of Moët & Chandon’s Dom Pérignon and Louis Roederer’s Cristal, both from the highly-acclaimed 2012 vintage. With the long aging potential of these fine wines, the recipient of these bottles of bubbly can enjoy them now—or even 10 years from now.
The Dom Pérignon and Cristal each boast exceptional scores across the board, with critics calling the 2012 Cristal “...just stunning. It’s as simple as that.” And the Dom Pérignon, “...a brilliant wine in the making…”
This lot was procured by a generous friend of KIDS Center and longtime wine collector who guarantees the provenance of these exceptional bottles.
The question remains: who will celebrate their good fortune of being the highest bidder of this year’s Tête de Cuvée Champagne lot? Uncork your generosity and say “CHEERS!”

Since 2016, Stan has been intimately involved with KIDS Center and Cork & Barrel. When Stan and his wife, Gail, relocated to Bend from California, they knew they wanted to connect with a group that was making a difference for children. Once they found KIDS Center, they found their group!
As the owner of a thriving wine business, Stan was a natural fit for our Cork & Barrel Committee, where he leveraged his wine knowledge. Stan helped plan and execute many aspects of Cork & Barrel, but most notably, Stan himself put together the Wall of Wine for the past 9 years! The Wall of Wine is one of the most cherished and lucrative Live Auction packages each year, and has raised more than $85,000 for KIDS Center since it’s inception.
Stan has said, “It would feel strange for me to ask people for money, but I can ask my friends all day long to give me a few bottles of wine! Because it’s for a good cause: supporting KIDS Center and helping children.”
Thank you, Stan—and Gail!—for helping to make Cork & Barrel such an outstanding event. You have supported KIDS Center with your time, treasure, talent and kindness. On behalf of the children and families we serve, THANK YOU!
